My guess is that becasue ARY is owned by “saith” (business man), they are not running ARY in professional manner and must be showing some “saith-pana”…but then its just my guess!
LOL......thats Mushy who wants to keep MQM at the front. MQM is busy looting Karachi's budget in every possible way as there is no tomorrow. And I am sure there will be no tomorrow for them, as they will dis-mantle the organization after having billions in their pockets.
On the other hand, our Forces are investing heavily in property, contruction, infrastructure building, cement, banking and manufacturing. The corruption is unbelievalble and all under the legitmate covers. The forces want to be independent since they know once Kashmir/Siachin problems are resovled, there will be no 70% of budget reserved for them, and there will be logs of cut backs and they are used to of lavish lives they are living. So they need to support themselves. So instead of investing in Pakistan's education, infrastructure, health and other areas that require money, they are playing their last round with huge budget that they got. Generations after generations these generals' offspring will run these huge millitary industries all accross the country. There will not be another Marshell Law again. There will be no need. They have eaten Pakistan's poor for 50 years, so it is time to leave the poor and get independent with $$ Billions they have invested for themselves.

I was in Pakistan 1 month ago and wanted to buy some land for a house but the prices were so high and was told by the real state agent that all the good plots are held by Army ppl ,so if want a better deal must have a conection in Army.
I wonder when will the prices of the real state will come down .We have seen the prices drop almost 35% in some areas in USA but not in Pakistan

how can humayun saeed and abdul kadwani leave a channel, they are producers and make programes and sell them to all channels, sometimes there programes come on ary and sometimes on geo,right now they have makaan being played on geo and manzil being aired on ary.

I see...I'd agree with you about why they must be leaving due to the saith-style mgmt. Plus Geo must be adding to it by offering bigger packages.
I feel all previous blows must have been manageable for ARY, but Dr Shahid Masood's loss will be a huge blow!
btw, any idea how much these executive producers earn?
I also have a feeling that Dr Shahid Masood, who's undoubtedly brilliant, was a king at ARY, especially OneWorld, but at Geo, I wonder how he'll make his presence felt because there are quite a few titans like him at Geo.

thats what we have to wait and see, he was basically answerable to no one at ARY ONE, in a way i dont like this because it was a good balance to have ARY ONE compete with geo news, but now geo has all the big fish! will be interesting though because dr shahid likes to do things his way but at geo he will be answerable to some people!
