I quite liked Dr Amir Liaqat and thought that whatever he does and preaches on tv, he does with sincerity…until I was pointed towards this video of his!
Please note that the purpose of this thread is NOT to get into a sectarian debate!
We are all muslims and should not have such attitude towards each others beliefs that differ!!
Coming back to Dr Amir; on tv he is completely opposite to what this particular video shows i.e. brotherhood, and always bridging the gap between sects..
Watch the second video at the above link; it points out where he went wrong!
What do you guys think?
What should Geo’s stance be on the issue?
If this is the wrong forum; please move the thread!
^ I was not even able to download this file , but from what i know about him i am not too excited have always hated him since he compared muhammad b abu bakr siddiq [ra] with umar b sa'd ]
I truely Hate this guy and can expect anything from him, He pretend to be so humble wearing all those dulha sherwanis but trust me he isnt, someone I know have got car showroom in karachi and he often goes ethere to change his car or whatever and according to those people he is a ******
following are some of the things which he shouldn't have said i.e. if he is what he makes out to be on aalim online:
"Raat ki Tareeki main saath dainay walay hi dost nahi hotay"
"Uthatay nahi jo Nabi [s.a.w] ka jinaza, kahan mar gaye baitian dainay walay!"
He also compared the companion Abu Sufyan (rah) with the head of the Munafiqeen Abdullah bin Ubay, when he said.
"Abu Talib ko eman laaney ke liye Abu Sufyan ki tarha mooN se izhar karna zaroori nahi tha, Abdullah bin Ubay ki tarha pichli saff mein khara hona zaroori nahi tha"
a couple of points here:
Puting a companion of the Prophet, who was also the Prophet's father in law, in the same class as Head of the Munafiqeen and someone whose disbelief had been exposed by Allah. This alone takes a person out of the fold of Islam.
Claiming that for a person to be a believer, it is not important to pronounce the Shahadah, which is the first pillar of Islam, and it is not important to offer Salaah, the second pillar of Islam.
So while the first is clear disbelief, the second is a serious deviancy.
Subhanallah at how he exposes the evil of the munafiqeen.
This guy is no longer a hypocrite....he is a clear enemy of Islam, after he has openly exposed his hatred and enimosity against the Imams of this Ummah and advisors and the best friends of our Prophet (sas), Abu Bakr and Umar and others, may Allah be pleased with them all.
^ Brother, "Indigestible" is a relative term, so kindly don't start a new debate here. By the way, I am sure the prophet (saw) and even Hazrat Ali (r.a) and Hazrat Imam Hussain (r.a) never used such "sarcastic" ways of criticizing anyone.
I am sure Hazrat Ali (r.a) would have disliked the way of talking "kahan mar gaye" for even his worst enemies. I am sure Hazrat Imam Hussain (r.a) wouldn't have ever disgraced even his worst enemies in their absence. So let us follow their sunnah of remaining polite and kind when mentioning people who are not present, even if we consider them bad. We may mention other people to be wrong, but using disgracing ways are not acceptable.
Let us stick to our beliefs and have respect for each others.
^aqeel this thread is not intended to go down that route..
ghalat baat is what Sharaabi pointed out ie "hatred and enimosity against the Imams of this Ummah and advisors and the best friends of our Prophet (sas), Abu Bakr and Umar and others, may Allah be pleased with them all."
These are the people to whom Prophet Muhammad pbuh himself promised fortunes in the Hereafter..
taking away from them the status that the Prophet pbuh himself had given them (meaning that the Prophet was wrong) does not really depict the love that Dr Amir claims he has for Hazrat Muhammad pbuh.

Dear frnd ...
He never mentioned names of umar and abu bakar ... he said uthatay nahi jo nabi ka jinaza , kahan mar gaey baitian denay walay .... now if umar and abu bakar didnt attend the jinaza than amir liaqt got a point and if they did !!! then y wud u worry abt it ?
this is stupid , amir liaqat ki dushmani may abu sufyan say muhabat ....i did not like amir liaqat as he is not consistent in his beliefs , but this does not mean i start glorifying the tulaqa in his hatred
abu sufyan was father in law even when he was a kafir ....you guys are obsessed with family relations
cursing a sahabi makes u a kafir ? even those who cursed Ali were not called kafirs by him.
