But of course we must protect the sovereignty of the nation and the national interests of the nation, at least as it appears to outsiders, while the democratic and judicial systems fall to pieces for the people who live within.
I wonder how people measure what’s right? Was capturing Osama Bin Laden the right thing? Is the bruised pride of Pakistan more important than the end goal? Or should this doctor have notified ISI so it could negotiate arms/cash or other benefits for cooperating in the capture of Osama?
If Dr. Afridi can keep his head high when he answers to Allah on the day of Judgment - then he has done nothing wrong. That is MY measure of right versus wrong.
