I insist. Please provide reference from the Quran forbidding humans not to curse the same treatment for the daughters / sisters of the cruel as he/she made others' daughters suffered. I would really appreciate that.
If this is off topic here, please provide in a seperate thread in religion forum. If I know it, perhaps, I can spread it further to people who do the same.
Thanks.
You can curse all you want those who committed such cruelty. Ask for punishment for those. Don't involve their family members who have no part in this whole episode.
Why did you edit your post? I believe the original was something along the lines of punishment for the daughters / sisters of those cruel animals?
Extremely heart breaking, her older sister was having press confrence with senator Iqbal haider this morning and I had tears in my eyes when she was telling the whole thing--How can someone sell the daughters of a country for some dollars, I hope and pray everyone who have been involved in this get the same treatment that she is been getting for last 5 years
Are you guilty of being cruel to somebody else's daughter?
Just wondered why my comments hurt you so much?

I think there is a verse which means that no father shall be punished for crimes of his son (children) and vice versa.
Is there? Would really appreciate if you could get me the chapter / verse number, please?

I never said anything about their daughter/sisters etc, There was a spelling mistake therefore I edited it :-)

Why do you need a Quran's verse ? i think even a pagan can fathom that everyone is responsible for his own deeds.

Don’t you find anything “fishy” in the para from one of the posts above:
Here we are talking about a supposedly “AlQaida” terrorists who ran away with 3 kids to Afghanistan to hide from authorities and here we find a “police” report saying she was arrested after her suspicious behavior outside governor compound, she was also going around with bomb-making documents, papers describing US landmarks, isn’t that all way too much convenient? Its like Pakistani police pulling out a gun and charas packet from the possession of innocent most citizen.
Re: Dr Afia Prisoner 650
^ exactly.
there are far too many holes in the american explanation of events.
i believe the afghan police version of events is probably true, and it isnt incompatible with the family's version.
For those of you who are in Pakistan, you can join hands at least by participating in the protests.
There was one protest yesterday in front of parliament house Islamabad. There’ll be a protest in Lahore in front of Lahore Press Club tomorrow, i.e. August 9th 2008 at 6:00 PM.
Here are pictures from the last protest:

Re: Dr Afia Prisoner 650
lol @ muq gya tera show musharraf
I was actually thinking that it is possible that she was never arrested in the first place. She was part of KSM's family after marrying his nephew and her role as an AlQaeda agent was exposed. It makes sense for her to not contact her family while she was in hiding. OTOH, it is possible that she may have managed to escaped after getting arrested but I have not read anyhting to imply that.
As it stands today she is innocent....unless she has been tried in front of an impartial jury....given a fair chance to defend herself....and is proven guilty beyond any shadow of doubt...and jury pronounces a verdict against her....this is the way it should be done in a civilised society if she is really guilty of any terrorrsm or some illegal activity against anyone....until then she is innocent...and as it stands today she and her children are victim of state terrorism and kidnapping....they disappeared in 2003 and then interior minister Faisal Saleh Hayat admitted she was in state custody....she was never produced in any court of law during all these years....neither was she declared an absconder if she managed to escape state custody....suddenly she appeared in New York and was produced in a court of law there....with a most absurd story that she is an Al Qaeda operative who was trying to make bombs in Afghanistan and attacked American military investigators in Afghanistan....I'll find myself in real trouble if I am an attorney defending American government in this case...
Musharraf already admitted in his book that they have kidnapped people illegally and handed them over to Americans....with this admission he has admitted two crimes....one kidnapping people....two illegal abuse of his powers as Pakistan's president...his book should be taken as self confession and he should be tried for these crimes.....

It has been several days now since she has been in US civil custody and have access to an attorney. She has also spoken to the Pakistani consular and have made several demands regarding Halal meals, prayer times and other rights. However, neither she nor her lawyer have said anything about her time since her disappearance, even when asked by reporters about it. Her lawyers have questioned the story of her attacking the soldiers as implausible but have not made any claims about the period since 2003. Let's wait and see if anything more comes out but at the moment one can not say for certain that she had been in Pakistan or US custody all this time. Could you post a reference to Faisal Saleh Hayat admitting to her arrest by Pakistan agencies?
Re: Dr Afia Prisoner 650
I think he is referring to Hayat's statement where he said 'you will be astonished to know what Dr. Affia has been doing'...

Musharraf’s son accused of pocketing bounty for Dr Aafia
Musharraf’s son accused of pocketing bounty for Dr Aafia

By Usman Manzoor
ISLAMABAD: Another debate has erupted after Barrister Iqbal Jafferi’s petition in the Islamabad High Court in which he has submitted that a huge amount of bounty money was received for handing over Dr Aafia Siddiqui to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Barrister Jafferi, in his petition filed on August 8, has accused President Pervez Musharraf’s son, Bilal Musharraf, of taking the bounty money that the FBI had announced for the head of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
The petition was filed to ask the court to direct the government to get Aafia back from the Americans and if the Pakistani doctor was guilty then she must be put on trial in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, a lawyer from the USA who knows Dr Aafia since her university days, told this correspondent on condition of anonymity that a huge sum of money was pocketed while handing over the FBI-wanted Dr Aafia Siddiqui to the US forces. She said that it was not known who collected that reward money from the FBI but someone gathered dollars for Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
She said that though the charges against Dr Aafia were ‘rubbish’ but the Americans would never let her go. “We have the examples of Aimal Kansi and an Italian underworld don after whose execution Italy stopped extraditing prisoners to the USA,” said the American lawyer adding, “Aafia has been put in a New York jail; was produced before a judge in New York and would be heard before a judge in New York while the public sentiment in New York was so anti-Aafia that the dailies have started calling Aafia a suicide bomber.”
She said that under such circumstances it was not possible to conduct a fair trial and the government in Pakistan must tell the US government to extradite its citizen to her homeland. The lawyer from the USA said that the issue was not of the innocence of Dr Aafia but in fact a trial could not be fair in New York.
Dr Fauzia Siddiqui, the sister of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, while talking to The News said that she would not blame anyone for what has happened to her sister. “From me and my family, we do not blame any Muslim for what has been happening to our sister for the last five years; Our Allah will take revenge for us,” said the weeping lady adding, “The government had been in contact with us during the last five years and has been saying that Dr Aafia would be back in a few days.” She said that the government had been informing the aggrieved family that Dr Aafia was fine with her three children but the way she appeared in the court in New York has shaken the entire ill-fated family. “Now we have been told that all the three children were fine but looking at Aafia’s condition we fear that the children might be in danger,” said the sister of Dr Aafia.
She said that the way the whole nation has supported them, especially the media, and she had become more proud of being a Pakistani. “It is immaterial who handed over Aafia to the FBI but I am proud of being a Pakistani after looking at the support from the civil society and the media and my heart wishes that I should go out and shout at the top of my voice that I am a proud Pakistani, a nation which has stood by its daughter.”
She said that she did not know if anyone has taken the bounty money for Dr Aafia and would not point fingers at anyone. “What I want is to bring Aafia back to Pakistan and I beg the media and the government to do something for Aafia and bring her back,” Dr Fauzia Siddiqui said adding, “the Americans would send her to jail for 40 years then what would we do? Aafia was not a green card holder then why she was being tried in New York?”
Meanwhile, Amna Masood Janjua, the lady representing the heirs of missing persons in Pakistan, said that Musharraf has taken money for handing over innocent Pakistanis to American forces and he has admitted it in his book too. She said that the government should stand up for the daughter of the soil and bring Aafia back to Pakistan.
Barrister Iqbal Jafferi, who is 70 years old and suffers from prostate cancer, was not available for comments.
She said that under such circumstances it was not possible to conduct a fair trial and the government in Pakistan must tell the US government to extradite its citizen to her homeland. The lawyer from the USA said that the issue was not of the innocence of Dr Aafia but in fact a trial could not be fair in New York.
What kind of la-la land does this unnamed and faceless US lawyer lives? "Pakistan government** must tell the US government to extradite its citizen** to her homeland"? Yeah, right.. and pigs shall fly. Sheesh!!
