sorry, but that makes no sense to me. why was she in afghanistan? who has the capability to set her up for being a muslim pakistani woman living in karachi?

She was already in Afghanistan in US captivity, they couldn’t find any damning evidence against her so they came up with the story of her assaulting military-men during interrogation.
