they are showing the making on ary currently and it looks like a good drama, produced by 8th sky, but i jusy dont like the cast of it.

I've only had a chance to watch three episodes and it looks okay so far. It seems as though it'll get really interesting and will turn out to be a good drama. At least the cast is quite good.

A summary of events so far...!
In response to the person who wanted a synopsis... :
It's basically the story of three really good friends (hence the word "dost") and how they have separated over time but still to some degree keep in touch. There is one guy (he hasn't been shown yet--only mentioned), and 2 girls. One of the girls lives in Malaysia and the other lives in Pakistan. Basically it has started off by showing the girl (the one in Pakistan) and how her brother is getting married. In the background we have this story about how she wants to go work in Malaysia and teach dance but her dad doesn't want her to. However, her brother convinces their father and the last I've seen, she's going to go to Malaysia. There is also this mini-subplot about how Ajaz Aslam's character (he is playing the brother or cousin of the girl who is getting married to the Pakistan-located girl's brother) how on the Mhendi day he threw money in a very "wrong" way on the dancing sister which prompted her to slap him and that as you can imagine, caused another 15 minutes of drama which was resolved rather quickly. Anyway, as of right now---the brother is married, the sister is going off to go teach dance in Malaysia and will soon join her friend. By the way in Malaysia--the girl and her mom are thriving on the business that her father left before he died, apparently. They're strict businesswomen and at the moment they've talked about how "Adeel" is coming to stay with them for a while. The daughter doesn't seem happy. But she is happy that their childhood friend (the one who hasn't been shown yet) is coming also at the same time as the girl from Pakistan. So, basically they'll all be together again after so many years. Okay, I realize that was really confusing especially since I couldn't remember names but with the recaps on the show and subtle re-telling of relationships within the dialogs; it's not too hard to catch up. Personally, I seem to think it will be an okay drama...Perhaps at certain points predictable but at least it has some story. By the way--I realized that the theme song was sung by Fakhir...? Does anyone know where I can get it? I'm still debating whether I like it or not but I kind of want it anyway. So any info would be gladly appreciated! :) Hope this helped....

Suhaib - it was on ARY last night. They have finally started some of their regular programming. Geo is still showing earthquake /political shows.
Well, we started watching it with all good intentions until we saw it is about 3 guys, 3 girls, and one guy (Faisal Rehman) has a retarded haircut, jumps up and down like a girl, and likes to cook for his friends (qualities that a normal Pak guy doesn’t possess).

Hey--hi. Thanks. I'll watch it. The song is growing on me..I'm begining to like it! :) The drama is back on ARY and I think they're at the 7th or 8th episode. It's going okay so far. The story line with the Mashel girl isn't progressing as fast as it should but maybe it will pick up. Anyway, otherwise it's back on tv.

***Adeel (Fakhr-e-Alam) has entered the drama now. He seems somewhat stuck up and "rich/spoiled".... He's back with Tania's mom returning from the US I think...
***We now know that Tania likes the childhood friend (I can never remember his name!) but she doesn't tell anyone.
***Mashel is pychotically in love with the childhood guy and he doesn't seem to like her that much but doesn't tell her that.
