I think having a professional babysitter at a wedding is a truly wonderul idea. The kids will be happy to have age-appropriate activities and the parents will be able to truly enjoy the wedding and visit with friends and relatives.
Whenever we've gone to a wedding with the boys, they've always behaved very nicely. Thats cause I kept a vigilant eye on them - they do get excited and so need constant supervision. So I don't get to visit and enjoy.
I dont agree with the parents who dont closely supervise their kids whether its a wedding or a visit to a friend or relatives house. Manners and good behavior starts at home and should follow them where ever they go. But even still, there will be accidents, spills and boo-boos. Kids are kids yeah? And even the best kids have their off days. Its not possible to truly understand this until you have your own.
