I have PCOS. Periods are normal, little over weight, high insulin resistance (controlled now with Diabex). no other PCOS symptoms.
My doctor wont give me any medication. She thinks other than PCOS there is nothing wrong with me. I am fine medically.
I want to have another BABY. Than why i am not falling pregnant. What should i do? She is a gud doctor. I had high insulin resistance even when i had my first baby but fell preg after 2 months of TTC.
you should get a second opinion. it does take longer to conceive with PCOS and she knows it, so i'm not sure why your doctor won't take steps to assist you knowing you've been ttc'ing for a year.
^ yes, Muzna, correct. If after a full year of trying concieve, you are not successful, then it is time to intervene. I'm not sure where you live, but if you are in US/Canada seek the advice of Reproductive Endocronologist. They are highly specialized physicians who specifically deal with hormonal imbalances/trouble conceiving.
Also, if you have PCOS and are trying to conceive, being overweight will definitely hinder the process. Even losing 10-15 lbs can make a world of difference.
If you have PCOS you have raised levels of LH even when you are not ovulating. Ovulation predictor kits will give you false positives. I learned that the hard way.
I think you should see a Reproductive Endicrinologist.
Are your cycles regular? Do you know if you are ovulating? Did you need any help to conceive #1?
People with PCOS have a hard time getting pregnant. If you are a diagnosed case and have been ttc for a year, you might wanna seek a second opinion at this point with preferably a reproductive endocrinologist.
All the best,iA.

Apologies, I had no idea about this (in terms of PCOS and LH)
