Since there seems to be a conscious effort in Pakistan to develop a cultural identity, let me point this out.
“Antaakshari” as you call it is a Sanskrit word. I wonder how many Pakistanis know that.
“Antaakshari” is corrupted pronounciation.
It actually is “Antya”(End) + “Akshari” (Word).
Now you guys stopped saying “Khuda Hafeez” because “Khuda” could mean a Hindu God as well.
So why don’t you invent another name for “Antaakshari”.
You see Knowingly or Unknowingly,I don’t want Sanskrit imposed on anybody who doesn’t like it
There is some other word used for it too, but its more for poetry than songs.

I haven't and I'm Pakistan and guess what, I'm Muslim.
I don't have any doubt that there is only one GOD and that is ALLAH (swt). So there is no difference between Khuda and Allah Hafiz.

You stumped me there Fraudia. Despite my knowledge of Hindi/Hindustani my mother tongue is Telugu the language of Andhra Pradesh.
We directly use the word “Telephone” or “Phone”. It is kind of fashionable up North to go for silly sanskritization of foreign words reather than incorporating them directly into one’s language

Saying or not saying ‘Khuda’ has no Hindu influence. ‘Khuda’ is a Farsi word meaning God, and ‘Allah’ an Arabic one. So your theory of people having stopped saying ‘Khuda Hafiz’ has no basis.

When did I say ‘station’ is a Sanskrit word. I said Andhras simply borrowed it from English instead of trying to come up with a sanskrit equivalent for it.
The north Indians have a penchant for sticking with Sankritised words which I think is a little bit silly.

As for “Khuda Hafeez” business. It is irrelevant that Khuda is farsi word. My point is you never heard of the phrase “allah Hafeez” in the sub-continent until Pakistanis came along and decided to point out very pointedly that they have nothing to with Hidu/Indian words
So what basically you are agreeing to is 2 things

In 'hindi" you are borrowing heavily from other languages too and that is prevelant in south india.

and in “hindi” people are making a concentrated effort to “sanskritization” of the language and thatis prevelant in north india. I guess they want to minimize the western influence on the language

Telephone is Telephone I guess. No Sanskritised equivalent and no need for it either.
There is one agency called Mahanagar “TelePhone” Nigam. so the word Telephone is adopted and I see nothing wrong with it.
As for Train Station the word is Station.

I was trying to point out the obssession of some Indians (To be fair to North Indians Ihave to admit South Indians also have this)

But frankly I think it is appropriate that any words related to technology be adopted as they are into other languages (in their English form).
A Word must have a root i.e, history. Scientific/ Technological words spring out of a tradition of Scientific/Technological tradition and it is hypocricy to try translate them where there are no such traditions.
Ask for Words about unruliness(Rowdiism),confusion(Bazaar) we supply the words.
