well we have made boxes and was thinking either contact them directly or contact AL-HUDA:hmmm:
our food box contained :
- Juices: 8 juices
- Chips: 1 big bag or 6 small
- haldiram snacks: 1 each
- Crackers: 4 each
- salty biscuits: 4 packs
- Water Bottles 2X1.5L water bottles or Four small water bottles
7 sweet biscuits: 2 packs - dates: 1 pack
- oreo cookies mini 2 each
- Soap: 2 each
- sesame snaps: 4 each
- Ready to eat rice dinner can (easy to open) 1 each
- Ready to eat chickpeas can(easy to open) 1 each
- humous can(easy to open) 1 each
- energy bars: 8 each
16: disposable cups 6 each
Some of the boxes also contained:
baby milk powder can: 1 each
baby food apple and peach sauce: 2 each
Pedialite solution : 1 bottle each
ORS sachets: 2 each
Pediasure cans: 2 each

Guys, from what I know the preferable weight mentioned by PIA is 10lbs.
We are making boxes and each came out to be under $10 including the price of the box. So just to keep in mind, it is not too heavy and cost is not too high either.

Same here people are donating. No space until 2 weeks But i hope they will keep donating at least 6 month or one year or more until they ask
... PIA should contact international airlines flying to help shift some of Lifeboxes

please confirm with your local agencies about doing lifeboxes these days.
apparently there is a backlog with PIA due to the huge response from overseas Pakistanis.
and it is very, very likely that you will not be able to donate directly to PIA......you will need to donate/deliver to a recognized organization that will then deliver to PIA.

Muzna it was around 160 boxes,and we are going to deliver them on 18 sep.thats the date what we got from the PIA office.cost was around 16$ costco zindabad.:)
