Did you ever think that what are the differences between Islam,
Christianity and Judaism? There are many similarities between
them.

They all have holy books and they all have strong beliefs about
god.

We Muslim say Ameen in the same way as Christian and Jews
say Amen when they end their prayers, scripture readings and
hymns.

When Muslims sneeze he say Alhamdulillah (Thanks God),
Christian say God bless you, and Jews say Gebencht (Be
blessed).

The Muslims, Jews and Christian we all practice religious
fasting.

If you see as a neutral basis then you can easily see
Christianity is the largest religion in the world.

So being a Pakistani Muslim myself, I beg to Arab Muslims,
and especially to Pakistani Muslims that please don’t follow the
Islam which terrorist Mullahs (clergy) are telling you about. And
don’t kill the innocent human being, from any religion because
of wrong religious teachings by illiterate maulanas.
My request to women of Pakistan is, teach your kids to respect
other religions too.

He is stating the reality! These muslims alqaeeda and taliban - they are like as they say - khusiani billy khamba noochay! Muslims and arabs are lagging far behind in S&T from the west! Given their present state of affairs, they are not going to rise for another 500 years!

The west took a forward leap in the year 1492 when they went for mass shipping and discovering new lands! Now they are looking forward to explore the space!

These scholars have been predicting qyama right from begining of the very first century hijra! And we do not see any signs of qiyama so far!

Fools paradise! These mullahs are keeping us frightened of qiyama thereby hindering in progress and development! I said even Sahaba had been thinking that qiyama was near! Due to widspread blooshed amongs muslims - war b/w Ali and Muwaya!

And the worst time of muslims - the mongol invasion - no one has killed muslims in such numbers that mongols killed! Even at that time scholars thought qiyama was near!

So sahaba were thinking qiyama and Muslim civilization DID NOT progress? Then by your logic Muslims have not progress in past 1500 years... since Quran mentions Qyama, I guess we should get rid of that too since it can delay our progress.

Qiyama is near but that does not mean you leave wordly tasks and other stuff to survive in this world. See my signature... if you understand urdu poetry.

Let's take out qyaaama for a minute, please tell us how to proceed then?

Shall we start praying to dead saints and their graves?

Shall we start beating our selves for few days in a year?

Shall we start wearing black?

Shall we start inventing superstitious beliefs in order to lift our souls?

Shall we start giving free mini skirts to girls and women in various muslim countries?

Shall we have more actresses benefiting the social fabric?

Shall we have more mujra houses to entertain and keep stress and depression off?

Shall we build and export some more diamond markets around Muslim world?

Islam has given more rights to women than any western modernist secular extremist can... that includes right to have as much education as possible, right to own and run business, right to property, right to happy and CLEAN life.

Go donate your miniskirt somewhere else, we've got plenty of rights without losing our dignity.

Oh yeah and worry about your own women... those made and train to populate *houses *with *lanterns in the windows.

Muslims are moving forward but because we have people who beat their chest, cut their arms and do all kinds of crazy things even in the 21st century, people are led to believe they real "Islam" but thats not the case..

ill comment on the title of this thread - living in a western world...sometimes u dnt HAVE a CHOICE on whether u wna talk to diff religion people....and i know most of us have christian and hindus as friends....so we cant say anything abt their religion.....yes islam is the best religion....and every1 should follow it.....but thsoe who dnt see sense and follow a different religion we should respect that....afterall....in the hereafter they will get what they deserve :)

Just because your own small social circle may be devoid of extremism mentality, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. So, don't think the news channels are making up EVERYTHING.

There is literature out there that is being sold under the name of Islam which purports things that Islam doesn't even endorse. The evidence is out there. I could name a couple of examples, but people who are ignorant will just turn their face and say its not happening, or its not as big of a problem as its made out to be, etc. But the fact of the matter is simply that most muslims, because of simple illiteracy problems, are unable to read the Quran. Therefore, they believe anything anyone with religious garb and position tells them.

If you don't think there's brainwashing going on out there, then you've got to be turning a blind eye to the world. The things that muslims believe Islam tells them to think and do is horrendous.

Back to the subject of the text, bravo! We should treat others as we want to be treated. Only God can judge, and treating others with respect will earn us respect from God.

In regards to crazy mullahs, of course there are some. There are crazy people in all religions that try to influence others. Its stupid to deny it- just go walk the streets in a big city and you'll get tons of pamphlets and speaches endorsing ideas.

Guys lets not confuse the religion with its followers. Isn't it a fact that all three of major religions are based on TRUE guidlines by Allah and His massengers? (I am talking about the TRUE nature of these religions)

  • That followers of other religions aren't doomed to hell?
  • That Muslims shouldn't stick together and have a separate set of rules of how to treat Muslims vs non-Muslims?
  • That Islamic law doesn't call for death to apostates?
  • That non-Muslims in an Islamic state have to pay a tax?
  • That non-Muslims aren't allowed to enter Islamic holy sites or build places of worship in certain Muslim lands?
  • Marrying people of other faiths?
  • That a person's religion is stamped on their passport in some countries?

they pay taxes just like muslims do, muslims pay zakat, which is a religious obligation, but is a tax. non muslims pay jizya instead of zakat.

no basis in religion, first one was based on security issues of that time, which just continued. second pne has no basis in religion but is a country's own laws.

allows other monotheists, ppl of the book, and is more based on tehfaith of the offspring. similar as to other faits where you have to be born into it or your mother must be that faith etc.
