The biggest social issue we have is unfortunately very common every where, whether its USA, Europe or Asia or S America.
Women are being victimized/killed by their spouses. What leads to these sad situations ? and what is the best way or solution to avoid those problems ?

they shud have faith in GOD and thats it
all relationships are about RECIPROCATION...without that its not a RELATIONSHIP....its ABUSE and USE
if a man is giving them cra* they shudnt have problems leaving him and telling him to GET LOST and GOODBYE...

I agree with you Irem, A woman should not be dependant on Man, but she must know how to servive if ever something goes wrong.
It can only be accomplished if we educate them. There is a strong need for parents to teach their girls and give them all the opportunities available.
I can see the change coming,…we are getting there.

i hate how the women in pakistan who are treated like crap are scared to leave their husband because they are scared of what other folks are going to think and how it will ruin the families reputation. if a lady is being abused her husband's family's reputation should be ruined not the ladies for leaving him.

jackie there r many reasons for that
the reputation thing is jus a part of it
some women r financially dependent on their hubbies or other male relatives
some women stay with abusive husbands so atleast their children can live with their father
also the eastern woman has a concept of “shaadi nibhaana” and “wafa” to the guy, no matter what he does to her…which is also a part of it…

That’s what I want and let everyone know that old days are gone, embrace the present now. I have seen in Pakistan , how women are being treated by their spouses. Who have no regard for their well being and just using / abusing them on daily basis.
Women in Pakistan never got their God given rights as per Quran and Sunnah. We have brought them to a level where they have hopeless future and just someone who works like a maid and faces the wrath of her husband family.
I read in the Pakistan print media and sometime watch news coming out from there.It Boils my blood to see, On one hand we raise our slogans, Islam, Islam,..and on the contrary, violating the same very rules and rights of women.
When we embrace western culture and blindly follow it,…then we don’t have our own identity left. Having said that, Once we get one bad thing in our society then we lose moral control. One thing leads to other and so on.
Women have the same equality and must be given some room to breath means to give them some power to decide their own future.
Well I shall cover all the grounds one by one as we go along.

education is the answer to 99% of all the worlds problems. at least in saudi arabia they are doing something about people forcing girls into marriage, it is in a thread but i couldnt find it.

women r responsible for their half problems..dont be so support of "Women freedom"..if women can control their "tongue"...their many problems will solve...males r also responsible for their idiotic atitude....they need to educated abt women respect..
women can neva eva become equal to men and nature has made men superior to women......women dont realise tht they have biggest weakness of males in their hands but still....

I don't wanna hear this crap anymore. This is one of those never-ending issues that are not meant to be resolved until the ends of times. It's just never gonna happen. So just give in! Find your own friggin' way to cope with it!

its not only in pak ..such things happens every where belive me on that ..even in europe i ve seen cases where women (paki , turkish n arab) r treated like crap but they cant stand for their rights ..sad ! i dont feel bad for such ppl , infact i get mad when i see em complaing ..if they cant do nething abt it they should not even complain either.

I know that most women think in their mind that they are making a sacrifice staying with a man that beats them because of children. There are two things that are seriously flawed with that arguement. The first being children learn what they see. Domestic violence is a cycle. The second is a man that beats women will most often than not eventually beat their kids. Again, a part of that cycle.
Education is a big part of ending the cycle, but educating women about the warning signs of abuse also needs to happen.
Sandleen, people who complain ands stay in relationships like that aggravate me, too.

its interesting to see that there are so many easy answers here to resolve a huge problem which covers a large percentage of women...from EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY/ RELIGION/CULTURE in the world.... voilence against women is a universal problem but doesnt have a universal qiuck fix.

I think it is an easy thing to say, that's why I am saying it. I am also against child pornography, child labor, war, chicken pox and ofcourse Amreeka..which is the cause of all the things I have mentioned.

you have very noble ethics, all of which i agree with, except child labour...... they make exceptional carpets and get in all the soot from the nooks and crannies when they are sent to clean up the chimneys....small nimble fingers...you see.
