Okay just an addition to what I said above... We are looking to a broader picture here and not just "since it's an uneducated mullah should we agree or disagree with him???" Everything counts, whether it's american history, media, or public, when people like US public show their stupid superiority over other nations... it's hard to see the ugly realities about oneself in the mirror when he thinks he is perfect!:)

I'm sorry CG, but it IS indeed a simple issue here and not one that needs to be discussed with american history, american indians and all-evil amrikaans. Its a simple pakistani issue that should go no further than that. Just cause I'm one of those amrikaans expressing concern and outrage, THAT makes it an international issue? No way. That maulvi is wrong, wrong wrong. Nothing else counts here.
When desis can begin to see the light in issues like this then maybe paki-land will have a chance. Otherwise, its status-quo in the third world.

....we're talking about some guy affecting the outcome of disease in his area of the planet and letting the disease live and thrive when it could easily be eradicated.....
why cant we talk about THAT without bringing in american history, american indians, gulf war? its about a MAULVI in PAK who is doing BAD things for kids....yeah? Why does this whole dam thing have to devolve into evil americans?
My point seems so very simple to me yet its gone on and on for 4 pages now without the maulvi-supporters answering questions directly posed to them.

No, i think the guy being an jahil mullah is icing on the cake. Even if some doctor was going around spreading unfounded rumours and scaring people, that would be questioned as well. However in this case its a jahil mullah doing this, and dragging in religion.
The issue first and foremost is with the message. but its hard to seperate the message and the messenger once you start investigating why such a message is being delivered and mixed with religion and jihad and what nots.
