Does the Koran Explain Why Mohammed Is THe Last Prophet?

i second armughal...there is a clear indication in Quran about Prophet Muhammad (SAW) being the last prophet.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA… GOOD ONE !!!

Andhra,

In this context, I would add, the values of Indian societies are different from the values of the Arabs. During that period, there was utter lawlessness and also the tribes were barbaric. You can't control the Arabs with some peace saying. In India, Buddha, Sankara, Madhva, Ramanuja could control the people just by preaching peace. The devotion was the supreme content. Where as in Arab you needed to be threated by Brute force and also you need to be shown the prize for being obedient. So, the rules that evolved were just for that populace. I do not think it can be applied elsewhere.

unecessarly islam is equated with pakistan
indians may have differences with pakistan
does not mean indians have to be anti-muslim.
we should not judge islam by pakistan.

  • Barq * is an Arabic word. In Urdu it means * lightning, * and * Barqiyah * in Urdu means * Electronic. *

I'd assume it means the same in Arabic.

Why'd you ask that? Just wondering.

When you guyz get done, can someone please PM me with the specific Quranic verses that state WHY beloved AnHazoor (saw) is the last prophet.

Thanks!

Ahmadjee, right on!! Glad you agree with me on this one.

I know KOran does say Mohammed is the 'Seal Of Prophets'.

But WHY?

Also deos Koran talk about any Prophets that are coming in future ?

Some sects of Islam believe in that don't they?

Who os this 'Imam Mehdi' that Shias seem to believ ein?

Andhra: "In the Quran Allah says, we have perfected our religion for you."

And like you said , " Prophet Muhammad SAW is the seal of all prophets.

Just shias believe that? Andhra a little knowldge is a dangerous thing, You demonstrate that all the time

Atleast ask a correct question

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/tongue.gif

Ibrahim:

If God tells the prophets of the impending things to come and to every one of the previous prophets this muhammed was told as the last prophet, is there any scripture in your intrepretation, that Jesus christ was told about muhammed?

As far as I know Jesus christ told that when he comes back there will be the final end to the universe. I have never come across any scripture where Jesus talks about Muhammed.

Seriously interested,
kumarakn

I don't have the ayat/chapter number handy, but Quran does say that Islam is "completed". So when Islam is completed, and in another verse Quran says that Mohammed PBUH is the seal of prophets, it does mean that there is no need of any "prophets".

Get it?

May Allah SWT guide us all towards right and help us follow the right

Here you go

[al-Ma'idah 5:3].....This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.....

Rvikz.. i have to say that you have nailed the point exactly..

when studying sociology you try to look at a place where you get similar situation in a small population.. you can study the dynamics better. but once the principles are set they can be transported to a larger group and confirmed.

The arabian peninsula was full of tribal conflict and wars - kinds like the nation states of the current era.

you do not have to believe in the prophet Muhammad (saw) to know that the "knowledge" or "wisdom" he passed on has great merits. You don't have to look far from your homeland to see confirmation of this - read the teachings of Guru Nanak.

anyway.. the basic principles set in that time are as applicable in relation to the nation states/ cultures.

Other religions were revealed at different parts of the world.. and as pointed out that the messengers and prophets came since the begining of the ages.. which could be 70,000 years ago..

In different areas the society/ culture were varied depending many climatic conditions and geographic locations.

In india the society developed differently than to the harsher climates of Arabia. and people wee more laid back - therefore the voice of guidance and persuasion was more useful than stern hand.

In North America - the people looked in nature for the sign of God - something God has asked all human beings to do any way.

Similarly with Australian natives. they were quite protected from war and conflict therefore they developed differently to the North Europeans.

I think i have gone long enough on the explanation .. and i am getting bored with it.

With regards to why Muhammad was the last prophet I have the answer on many different levels.

  1. the society and technology had become advanced enough at that moment that there was no need to send reminders any more.

  2. all other information/ wisdom/ laws were already sent and most of them were being practiced.. even by the so called "infidels". who did believe in numerous Gods.. but still had rules of law and society. what was needed was to put everything in perspective into one comprehensive model which works together.

  3. the population as big enough that even if there was a major natural distater - there would be a lot of people still alive to carry on the message.

  4. once the message has been perfected.. you don't need to have someone else to explain it again later.

  5. the analytical prowess of the humans at large had become advanced enough that they could analyse the commandments into future.. hopefully without much hassle.

many people would not agree with point number 5.. as there had been many bright sparks in the human history before then.. but point 5 ties in with point 3. there were smart minds and a lot of them.. A critical mass had been reached..

Ibrahim says: Greetings of Peace to one and all

Dear Brethren,

For those who are seriously interested in finding out how, our Creator had ensured that man will be rightly guided and not be misled by the devil which decided to challenge the Creator, you will find answers in the under mentioned compilation of sacred texts

For those goons who are desperately trying to save their honor by trying to denigrate other faiths, good luck, but it won’ help , no matter how lucky it can get.

Anyway , this should provide a clear expose on ** How the FINAL Prophet was established and recorded in various scriptures such that only the ignorant will remain ignorant and the knowledgeable will be separated from the ignorant. **

Regards
Ibrahim.

PS: Sorry about the length

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/smile.gif

Lets first look at the Reminder given by our Creator to a seer. :-

Isaiah 46: 9. Remember the former things, those of long ago;** I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. ** 10. ** I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.** I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. 11. ** From the east I summon ** a bird of prey; ** from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.** What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do. 12. ** Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted, you who are far from righteousness.**

Ibrahim says: thus the Creator makes it clear

  1. that the end was reveled from the beginning

  2. that the chosen man will come from the east and he will FULLFILL God’s purpose ( meaning that will be the end, the final man to be sent to fulfill what God had revealed form time to time, after him, none will be sent)

Ibrahim says: So, here we need to ask ourselves

  1. Who is “That Man from the East,”?

  2. Who is That Prophet that will be sent to “fulfill HIS Purpose”? ( meaning to complete)

  3. What is his name ?

  4. What happened to him?

Ibrahim says: In order to understand this and to identify the man, who was chosen by God from the beginning to fulfill God’s purpose for mankind, we need to look at the prophesies given form the beginning, we will start with bible first then after the Veda and Avseta.
.

We can begin with a few prophesies of the Old and New Testaments. According to the book called ** Deuteronomy, chapter 33, verse 2,** Moses prophesied some events:

“And he said. The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; He shined forth ** from Mount Paran, and he came with ten thousand saints. From his right hand went a fiery Law for them.”**

The prophesy states several things and they seem clear in meaning. It is accepted that The Lord spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai. The Lord would then manifest Himself at Seir, which is very much near Jerusalem. It is clear that this speaks about the coming of Eesa (pbuh) (better known by false name as Jesus). Then The Lord would manifest Himself ‘at Mount Paran’ and come with ‘ten thousand saints’.

Bible scholars say that ** Paran is the area around Mecca and Medina in Arabia.** What was this shining forth of The Lord at Mount Paran, which is Arabia? Muhammad (saw) was born in Mecca and migrated to Medina. ** The first revelation came to Muhammad (saw) when he was inside a mountain cave. No one else can this elude to. ** Also, when Muhammad (SAW) came victoriously into Mecca ** after being driven out by the rulers, he came in with exactly ten thousand of his closest companions or ‘saints’.**

Not Convinced? Here is another Prophesy

There is another prophesy about one from Paran in ** Habakkuk 3:3-7:**

“God came from Teman, and ** the Holy One from Mount Paran.** Selah. His glory covered the heavens and the Earth was full of his praise. And his brightness was as bright as the light. He had horns coming out of his hands; and there was the hiding of his power. ** Before him went pestilence and burning coals went forth at his feet.** He stood and measured the Earth.** He beheld and drove asunder the nations; ** the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: ** His ways were everlasting.”**

** Who else from Mount Paran drove the nations asunder in all history as Muhammad (saw) did?** The Romans who tried to put Eesa (peace be upon him) on the cross surrendered to the companions of Muhammad (peace be upon him). The prophesy says that his ways would be everlasting’.** Muslims are commanded to stick as close to the ways of Muhammad (saw) as possible, as the Quran (the Revelation) and the Sunnah (Prophet Muhammad’s way of doing things) form the essential sources of guidance for Muslims.**

Not convinced? Here is another PROPHESY.

In ** Isaiah 9: 6**

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and ** the government shall be upon his shoulder** : and ** his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, ** The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

  1. Note how ** he is named “ wonderful counselor” which could translate to Mohammed in the Arabic and Hebrew language.**

  2. note how the “Government will rest on his shoulder” ** and indeed the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) ruled Arabia with a fiery law ( strict law as given by the Creator) and his companions conquered the Romans who attempted to crucify the Christ.**

Not convinced? Here is another PROPHESY.

In ** Isaiah 28: 9 ** he is again mentioned

  1. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10. ** For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.**

** Indeed this Prophet spoke with stammering / reluctant lips ( speech) for he was illiterate and conversed in an Arabic language ( another tongue) and he taught the Qur’an which took 23 years to complete and it was reveal line after line , here little they a little, which contained precept after precept for all of mankind..**

Not convinced? Here is another PROPHESY.

Even Eesa (pbuh) (Jesus) attested to these events after himself, according to ** Matthew 21:43-46:**

** “Therefore I say unto you, the Kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation ** bringing forth fruits thereof. And whosoever falls on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”

Who was the one from Paran whom all of this speaks about? Muhammad (saw) was the direct descendent Of Ishmael, the son of Ibrahim / Abraham (pbuh) . It was said by Allah (God) about Ishmael according to ** Genesis 17:20 ** that Ishmael was blessed and would be made a great nation: ** “I have blessed him…and will make him a great nation.”**

Which other descendent of Ishmael, from Paran can these things speak of?

Still not convinced?

Yet there are more mentions of ‘The Prophet’.

According to** Deuteronomy 18:18-19** , God was speaking to Moses about the Israelites:

** “I will raise them up a prophet among their brethren, like unto thee, and I will put my words in his mouth ** and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall not hearken unto the words that ** he shall speak in my name, ** I will require it of him.”

Who are the brethren of the Israelites? ** The brethren of the Israelites are the Ishmaelites, since Ishmael was the brother of Isaac, Muhammad (saw) was the direct descendent of Ishmael. This prophet was to be like unto Moses.

The Qur’an says:

** “We have raised a prophet amongst you like unto the prophet (Moses) we sent to Pharaoh,” [Qur’an 73:16].**

In fact, both Muhammad (pbuh) and Moses (pbuh) were very similar when their lives are examined:

** Both grew up orphans; both were bestowed prophet hood in middle age and both married; both were driven out by their people. In fact, both Muhammad (pbuh) and Moses (pbuh) brought complete laws of life, **

Further in ** Acts 7:37. **
This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel,** A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me;** him shall ye hear. 38. ** This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, ** and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Here again he is mentioned and indeed the ** Prophet Mohammed ( pbuh) was taught by an angel in a secluded cave (church) where he frequented in the mountain. (wilderness)**

whereas Eesa (pbuh) ( better known by false name “Jesus”) only had come to reform and revive the strength of the Law of Moses ( Pbuh), as he himself states in ** Matthew 5:17-18:**

“Think not that I have come to destroy the Law or the prophets; I have come not to destroy but to confirm. For truly I say unto you: Until heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the Law…”

And Eesa (pbuh) ( better known as Jesus) did not fulfill everything, clearly as he spoke in ** John 16:12-13:**

“I have yet many things to say to you ** but you cannot bear them now.** However, ** when the Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide you into all truth;** for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that he speak. ** And he will show you things to come.”**

Muhammad (saw) was commanded thus by God in Qur’an 5.-68:

** “Oh Messenger, convey to the people what has been revealed to you from your Lord.”**

The entire Qur’an is the exact words of Allah (God ) spoken through Muhammad (saw), without translation or editing.** The Qur’an is the only scripture alive today in the original language in which it was revealed.**

Continuing with the prophesy, ** God said He would “put His words” in the prophet’s mouth ** and he shall only speak that which he is “commanded”. Muhammad (saw) received revelation and it was branded on his heart’ (as he himself used to explain). The ** Qur’an attests that Muhammad (saw) does not speak of his own desires, but that which he is commanded to speak.**

Muhammad’s life was meticulously recorded by his companions so much so that they recorded literally how he would brush his teeth. ** And throughout his entire life, no one saw anything questionable in his character nor was he ever accused of being contradictory or anything but truthful and trustworthy, even by his enemies! Non Muslim studies of Muhammad (saw) would also concur on this point.**

The prophet would speak Allah’s (God’s) words in Allah’s (God’s) name. The Qur’an contains parts or chapters and each chapter begins with the words, ** “In the Name of Allah, Most Beneficent, Most Merciful”.**

Then, in the very next verse after the last prophesy, ** God gives the criterion by which we can judge the truth ** of The Prophet from the liars and false prophets ** (Deuteronomy 18:20):**

“But that prophet which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other Gods, ** even that prophet shall die.”**

This states clearly that the false prophet shall not succeed. Did Muhammad (saw) succeed? Well, ** he managed to turn a group of infighting tribes into the strongest force in the world, 1.8 billion people follow him today,** countless others have throughout history, and more and more are accepting this message now. When he was informed of the close to end of his life by Allah, Muhammad (saw) gave a farewell speech, in which he asked the people whether he had accomplished his mission of warning the people and establishing the Law of Allah (God), and the people resoundingly answered affirmatively .

Still not convinced?

Ibrahim says: Greetings of Peace to one and all cont…

Now we go to** Song of Solomon, 5:10-16.** A title of Muhammad (saw) was “Habeebullah” meaning The beloved of Allah’. Here is the prophesy:

10 "My beloved is white and ruddy.

11 His head is purest gold, his hair is wavy and black as a raven.

15 (describe his eyes, cheeks, lips, arms, body and legs )

16 His mouth is sweetness itself. He is ________" This is ** my beloved,** and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

The reason I left the blank is because the word used in the original Hebrew language is stunning. The word is** "Muhammadim’. “He is Muhammad”, it reads** . The translators decided to translate the name to ** ‘altogether lovely’ in the English versions,** but anyone can go and check it in any Hebrew text.

Romanized Hebrew :- 5:16

  1. xikow mamtaqiym wkulow ** maxamadiym** zeh dowdiy wzeh ree`iy bnowt yruushaalaaim.

Also, this description exactly describes the appearance of Muhammad (saw) according to the descriptions written by his companions. Please, I urge you to think and make your own decision. ** This could be a coincidence or that could be a coincidence, one may say, but how many coincidences can there be? **

In ** John 14:15-16,** Eesa ( pbuh) ** (Jesus) says:**

“If you love me, keep my commandments. ** And I will pray to the Father and He shall give you another Comforter.”**

It is important to note that in other places, Eesa (pbuh) speaks of himself as a Comforter (Paraclete’ from the ancient Greek language), and in this passage the same word is used, ‘Paraclete’.** In John 16:7, ** we have:

“Nevertheless, I tell you the truth;** it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you.** However, if I depart, I will send him to you.”

The apostles do not want him to go, obviously, ** but he says that if he does not go, the Paraclete cannot come.** There is a plan, and it is part of it that he must go away.

In ** John 16:12-14, Jesus says:**

** “I have yet many things to tell you, but you cannot bear them now.** Howbeit, ** when the Spirit of Truth is come, he will guide you into all truth;** for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear shall he speak. And he will show you things to come; and he shall glorify me.”

Muhammad (saw) truly glorified Eesa (pbuh). In fact, without believing in Eesa (pbuh) (Jesus), one cannot be a Muslim. Qur’an states that Eesa (pbuh) (Jesus) was one of the greatest 'anbiya (Arabic meaning 'prophet, the word Eesa (Jesus) used to
describe himself). He was born of a miraculous birth from the chaste virgin Mary and he proved himself by many miracles. Truly, Muhammad (saw) was the Paraclete (or prophet) or Spirit of Truth as foretold by Eesa (pbuh) (Jesus) as one to guide into all truth.

The Qur’an bears clear witness to this, saying in 17:82:

** Say [to the people] that the Spirit of Truth has come and falsehood is vanquished. ** [Qur’an 17:82]

Still not convinced?

In the time of Jesus, the Jews were expecting the coming of three individuals as we read in ** John 1:19-21:**

"Now this was John’s (the Baptist) testimony when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, I am not the Christ.’ They asked him, ‘Are you Elijah?’ He said, No, I am not.’ ** ‘Are you The Prophet?’ He said, No.'**

There was no need to mention details, they were expecting the “Christ”, “Elijah,” and “The Prophet”. John The Baptist turns out to be Elijah, as ** Jesus later clarifies in Matthew 11:14:**

“And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who was to come.”

And in ** Matthew 17:14:** “But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him. ..Then they realized that he was speaking of John The Baptist.”

** Obviously, Jesus was the Christ (or ‘anointed one’ in English). John was Elijah. So who was The Prophet’? **

Who is the one who was to come from Mount Paran, which is according to Bible scholars, around Mecca and Medina? He was to come with ten thousand saints and bring a fiery law. He was to be like unto Moses and come from the brethren of the Israelites. This Prophet was to speak what words Allah (God) put in his mouth and speak 'in the name of Allah (God). The Prophet was to conquer his enemies and establish the Law of Allah (God) and guide the faithful into all truth. ** Who is this Prophet that would only come after the going away of Eesa (Jesus) and would glorify him?**

After examining the clear evidences, it is clear that Muhammad (saw) was The Prophet. It is important to point out that the Jews who lived in Arabia at the time of Muhammad (saw) were expecting ‘The Prophet’ in the Paran (Arabia) area. They used to mock the pagans that The Prophet would soon come and lead them to victory over the pagans, as foretold in their scriptures. It is also important to understand that there were many Christians who did not believe that Jesus was God. They understood that Eesa (Jesus) was an honored Prophet and Messenger of Allah (God), but only human.

These great masses of Christians were concentrated in North Africa, and they were also expecting The Prophet, as the Bible foretold. Therefore, when the message of Islam reached the North Africans, they readily followed the message of The Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). This contributed to the fact that North Africans are Muslims today and the majority of Christians left in the world who did not follow Muhammad (SAW) were and are those that take Jesus to be God.

** “… Those who follow the Messenger, the Immaculate One, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel which are with them.” ** (Qur’an 7:158).

No doubt there are many prophecies regarding the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) in the Bible, but in the above quoted Qur’anic verse, the Torah and the Gospels are especially mentioned; because Moses and Eesa (Jesus) (peace be upon them) were prominent figures among all Israelite prophets.

** Muhammad (saw) confirmed all previous Prophets and said that disbelieving in them was tantamount to disbelief in Islam.** It is also clear that many previous Prophets told their people about the coming of The Prophet’. This Prophet would lead the people into all truth and establish the Law and proper way of life for humanity. Not surprisingly, many of these prophesies still can be seen in scriptures of Prophets who came hundreds even thousands of years before Muhammad (SAW)

** Please examine the evidence put before you and be sincere and just in your judgment Please do not let the practices of those before you or the majority of people around us today, or the propaganda against Islam lure you away from honesty.** If you do not subscribe to Islam, that’s all right but ** in order to understand the above , leave aside the “boundary markers” that you have established, based on your current faith and think carefully, for your fate depends on it.**

Now lets look at some other verses found in earlier scriptures:-

** In the scriptures of the Hindus, which are of the oldest scriptures known,** there are many clear prophesies of Islam and Muhammad (saw) and I would like to point out two very clear ones here.

The first is in ** Bhavishya Purana Parv 3, Khand 3, Adhya 3, Shalok 5-8:**

  1. "Just then, ** an illiterate roan with the epithet ‘Teacher’, Muhammad by name,** came along with his companions.

  2. Raja (Bhoja in a vision) to that Great Deva the denizen of Arabia, purifying with the Ganges water and with the five things of cow offered sandal wood, and pay worship to bin).

  3. ** O denizen of Arabia and Lord of the Holies** , to thee is my adoration. O thou who has found many ways and means to destroy the devils of the world.

  4. ** O pure one from among the illiterates, O sinless One, the Spirit of Truth ** and absolute master to thee is my adoration. Accept me at thy feet.

It is a very well known fact that Muhammad (saw) was an illiterate man and was known as the 'ummi" Prophet, meaning ‘unlettered Prophet’. And once again, Muhammad (saw) is referred to as ‘Spirit of Truth’ as in the Bible and in the Qur’an. However the most striking thing is that Muhammad (saw) is named in the fifth verse, along with the mention to his companions. Some of the Hindu authorities have tried to cast doubt on this part of the book; their reason being that it mentions Muhammad (saw) clearly, and anything that does that cannot be authentic!

Nonetheless, according to the vast majority of Hindus and Sanatist Pandits, it is considered quite authentic. There is yet another clear foretelling in ** Atharva Veda, Kanda 20, Sukta 127, Mantra 1-2:**

1 "O people, ** ‘the man of praise’ ** will be raised among the people.

2 ** We take the emigrant in our shelter from sixty thousand and ninety enemies** whose conveyances are twenty camels and she-camels, whose loftiness of position touches the heaven and lowers it."

Now compare the above with the Bible in** Isaiah 21:14.**

The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread** him that fled. ** 15. ** For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.**

Muhammad (saw) was driven out of Mecca by the rich and powerful leaders of Mecca. He migrated to Medina, where the people accepted him readily. The people who migrated have thenceforth been known in history as the ‘Emigrants’.

God Almighty says in the Qur’an what means as follows in

2:256: ** Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands clear from error. Whosoever rejects falsehood and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things.**

Another clear prophesy from Parsi Scriptures.

The Parsi religion, perhaps as old, if not older than the Hindu religion. In the Parsi scriptures, there a clear prophesy which describes, in detail, the events surrounding the advent of Muhammad (saw).

In Persia, the people used to worship fire. They were very powerful as they were able to oppose The Roman Empire at the time. In Arabia, the Ka’ba (Black cubical shaped house) had been built as a place and direction of worship for the One True God, but had been filled with hundreds of different idols.

When Muhammad (saw) came victoriously into Mecca (city where Ka’ba is situated), he had all the idols destroyed and left empty. Muslims since Muhammad’s time have performed all daily prayers facing the direction of this house. The companions of Muhammad (saw) conquered mighty Persia and eliminated the fire worship. People of Persia (modern day Iran) did follow Muhammad (saw). All of this is known in history now, but what follows is the prophesy in the Parsi scriptures which date back thousands of years before Muhammad (saw) was ever born.

In the ** Dasatir, No. 14,** it reads, in translation from the original Pahlavi and modern rendered Persian, as follows:

** “When the Persians should sink so low in morality, a man will be born in Arabia, ** whose followers will upset their thrones, religion, and everything. The mighty stiff necked ones of Persia will be overpowered. ** The House which was built and in which many idols have place will be purged of idols** and the people will offer their prayers facing it. His followers will capture the towns of the Parsis Tus and other large places around these. People will embroil with one another. ** The wise men of Persia and others will join his followers.”**

Now compare this with the Bible

** Isaiah 21:13.** The burden upon Arabia.** In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, ** O ye travelling companies of Dedanim. 14. The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled. 15. For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war. 16. For thus hath the Lord said unto me, ** Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail: ** 17. And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the Lord God of Israel hath spoken it.

According to the Bible

** John 8:12. ** Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, ** “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”.**

So brothers and Sisters, as we know the wicked Jewish priests opposed the Christ and tried to kill him. Thus the Christ was chased out by the people to whom he was sent to guide.

And Eesa (pbuh) further declared

John 9: 5. ** “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world”.**

Hence when he was removed from the world, Allah (swt) sent another as was prophesized from the beginning.

1 cor 13:8. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophesies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9. ** For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.** But ** when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.**

** “O” Brothers and Sisters! Awake the perfect is indeed here, it is the Qur’an conveyed through Prophet Mohammed by Allah (God) and those that are in parts like the Bible are ‘ done away”.**

Still don’t get it? See a Doctor and just wait and see.

Remember “Truth stands out clear from errors”

Black zero:* 4. once the message has been perfected.. you don't need to have someone else to explain it again later.*

Zalim: i disagree, if the message is completed and everyone can understand this message then why all of you guys are waiting for Imam Mahdi and Jesus to revive something if not Islam? Why bother, if you have everything, why cant you do something and unite the whole ummah? If the message is so clear that you have preserved its essence for the last fourteen hundred years without any rust or crust, then why Muslims are facing such an agony and despair through out the world? why cant your complete and perfect message can win you the victories like of kaisar and kasra? perhaps if anyone can answer one.

PS: I don’t disagree that message is not complete or is not perfect, infact this verse also claims that messengers can come.

=======================================

Andhra:* Does Koran say anything at all on WHY? Why is he the last Prophet? *

Zalim: The answer is Quran nowhere says that Holy Prophet of Islam (saw) is the last prophet nor Quran says that no prophet can come. People say so because of their translations or they have interpreted the verse according to their mind set, its like putting words in God's mouth. All those should fear Allah (if they believe in one) and ask Him to give the insight of this fact. He is the only God who speaks.

On the other hand if one review the Quran with an open heart and an open eye, it’s not impossible to find verses that gives the glad tidings of coming of Prophet(s). Like for example one verse goes like this “ O children of Adam, If Messengers come to you from among YOURSELF, rehearsing MY Signs unto you, then whoso shall fear God and do good deeds, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve.”. [al-A`raf 7:35].. While explaining this verse some think they are not derived from Adam, some think it refers to Children of Israel… but poor Muslims reject these crystal clear words because they think Holy Prophet is last and no prophet can come. The verse they translate as "Last Prophet" has no support whatsoever from Quran. Not a single supporting verse (consider this a challenge).

Zalim: sorry I quoted a single verse from my Holy Book to support my statement.

Zalim,

The answer is Quran nowhere says that Holy Prophet of Islam (saw) is the last prophet nor Quran says that no prophet can come. People say so because of their translations or they have interpreted the verse according to their mind set, its like putting words in God’s mouth. All those should fear Allah (if they believe in one) and ask Him to give the insight of this fact. He is the only God who speaks. <<

May be you are right.
Ibrahim, don’t go so fast quoting from Hindu Puranas.
For all you know, a Brahmin like me could have circulated them to wangle money out of Moghuls!!

As I always say leave Hinduism out of this.
There are enough woolly Sanskrit scriptures around, so you can proove everything from coming of Jesus to coming of Lucifer, or both coming together if you want!!

Let’s stick to Koran, the pure Word of GOd and see where it says WHY Mohammed is the last Prophet!!!

Dear breathen, ...

At the time of Hadhrat Ali (peace be on him), somebody asked him why so much discord was in evidence.
The retort he gave was beautiful.

He said 'because Hadhrat Muhammad Mustapha (peace and blessings of God be upon him) had people like me to follow him, and I have people like you to follow me'.
You can see the difference in generations and in their quality of sacrifice.
So the Holy Qur'an did not change by the time of Hadhrat Ali (peace be on
him), it has not changed even today, but the difference between the quality and the character of people is immense.

"Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him).
(Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 37, Battles (Kitab Al-Malahim), Number 4310)"

u still havent found it…
i thought u wud have read it by now…
dont take everything for granted…

i told u the reason is there, just go and find it yourself…
u r becoming lazy by just making others give u what u need…
go and do ur own work…

and u can always ask me if what u found is the correct reason or not…
always glad to provide knowledge to ignorant people

“Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith.” Quran(3:147)

Ibrahim says: Andhra! the veda is not a purana, according to hindus the veda is timeless and can NEVER be altered so tell us why the veda talks about Muhammad (pbuh) and foretells the events that will take place in his life?

Let me re-quote since you seem confused by talking about the purana and failing to note the veda and its authority. , which I had mentioned.

Ibrahim says: mocking, lying, denigrating the hindu scripture when you get caught is not going to make them disappear , it only shows how pathetic a hindu is and how desperately low he will go down to in order to keep his pride and hide the truth.

BTW how will I know you are Brahmin? do not spoil the name of the Brahmin by keep on branding yourself as one, , for by your words and deeds you can only be a sudra, since in order to be a Brahmin you need to worship Allah alone and have high morals , which obviously seem lacking from your actions and words.

Ibrahim says : Is Hinduism so silly that it becomes unbearable for you to think about it? I am only answering questions raised by you and others, are you uncomfortable when I reveal what Hinduism says?

Ibrahim says : So one can look at any other scriptures but not Hinduism, is there a moratorium when it comes to Hinduism on this forum?

Ibrahim says: apparently you did not read my post or you failed to understand what I had written, you had already been answered as to why, the Final prophet will be the last and final prophet for mankind.

Now either you re-read them and come back to me or do your spin as you desire. But when you lack the capacity to comprehend what good is there for a person to explain to you anything?

But just let me get this through to you, since as a sudra you may have failed to understand this.

** The man who rejects the words of the scriptures, and follows the impulse of desire attains neither his perfection, nor joy, nor the Path Supreme.
