The Qur’an is the message in the Arabic tongue delivered 1423 years ago prior to that, other messages like it in other tongues were delivered by other prophets from day one of the creation of this planet. Hence when you understand the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will be the last prophet for mankind as confirmed in the Qur’an . The reason for it will be more clearly mentioned not in the Qur’an but in earlier revelations.
Meaning, the First prophet will ask questions as to what is the future going to be like and in answer to that, God will convey , I will do this and that and that info will be found in the revelations given to that prophet. whereas when the final message comes it will be more stern warning of the impending event to come .
Thus PROVE for the final scriptures and final prophet is found in all earlier scriptures and they are to be used as evidence for the recognition of the final prophet not what the prophet received although for Muslims that is what is most acceptable.
I repeat , God simply conveys who will come next in an earlier scripture not in the scriptures given to that person. This is a must for followers to anticipate as well as acknowledge the coming of that Prophet.
Ibrahim says: because he has decreed that man will have limited age, in other words you will die but your children have to live and when they die their children have to live and you will remain dead, so the knowledge you had dies with you.
Meaning IF God sent a prophet in your time frame, your great great grand children may not have that knowledge ( they will forget and disrespect God’s commandments just like you skillfully try to do when I reveal quotes from hindu texts) thus another Prophet or messenger is sent so that the message given is always present in the minds of those who are present at that time frame on this planet till the decreed end of time for mankind materializes
.
Since there is a decreed end of time for mankind where all our actions have to be judged , there will be final Prophet and that is why God revealed who will be the Final prophet from the first scriptures he sent to mankind.
Ibrahim says this is silly 9 but coming form you, I have to excuse you) , if your intention is to learn, then you should look at everything not just what suits you or you can be comfortable with.
Regards
Ibrahim

why all prophets appeared around 2000 years
ago. humans existed at the present form
how many years ago 70,000 years?why such a long delay. most of the time humans existed
without prophets . can we as a human race exist another 70,000 years?
the last prophet, Muhamma (pbuh) lived 1400 years ago…
the 2nd last prophet, Essa or als called Jesus (pbuh) lived 2000 years ago…
the First Prophet was Adam (pbuh) who was also the First Human…
so humans have never been without prophets…
Quran 10:47 47) To every people (was sent) an Apostle:
“Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith.” Quran(3:147)
1400 or 2000 years is a long time without any prophets. It seems the need is greater in these modern circumstances. Jews and Muslims place an importance on the finality of them, Christians don't place an importance on them outside the context of the Old Testament. Israel could use men who would speak out as prophets to chastize the nation, as in days of old. These men did not make many friends within society, but their value to it is written of in scripture.
Dear Tomasso, Barq means “lightning” , But kindly do not repeat this on this forum as there are many nit pickers on the forum. PM someone you know or the admin or moderator for assistance thanks.
speaking of adam and eve you might enjoy this joke
When Adam stayed out very late for a few nights, Eve became upset. “You’re running around with other women,” she told her mate.
“Eve, honey, you’re being unreasonable,” Adam responded. “You know you’re the only woman on earth.”
The quarrel continued until Adam fell asleep, only to be awakened by a strange pain in the chest. It was his darling Eve poking him rather vigorously about the torso.

SO the bit about Mohammed being the last Prophet is not given in Koran but elsewhere.
Is that what you are saying?
Doesn’t that contradict the belief that Koran is the final and revealed word of GOd with no other authorities above it?
I mean, finality of Mohammed’s Prophethood and Koran as the final Word of God are the cornerstones of Islam right?
Then why are you telling me that you have to look elsewhere to satisfy yourself that Mohammed indeed is the last Prophet?
DOn’t give me Mohammed’s last sermon to people of Madina, where he said there will be no more prophets after him.
Ofcourse he will say that!!
sorry forgot to answer the question put by andhra....
YES, the Quran does tell us why Muhammad (pbuh) is the last prophet....
he answer to this WHY is so obvious in the Quran that i dont see why anyone shud miss to get the answer....
so andhra go home and read the Quran and u'll see it....
P.S. if u make such stupid comments and raise such useless questions without reading the Quran, i think u waste ur own and others' time....
also, if anyone wud like to know the answer, i can PM him/her, ofcourse it will have to be someone who seeks knowledge and is not just a time waster and rumor spreader like andhra....

NO NO NO not at all. All Koran says is 'Mohammed Is the Seal Of Prophets' i.e, he is the final Prophet.
The Koran says it in 33:40 'The COnfederate Tribes'.
Mohammed is the father of no man among you.He is the apostle of Allah and the seal of the Prophets'!!!<<
SO the Koran as far as I can see won't tell you WHY?
By the way I read another juicy bit about marrying your adopted son's wife. I opened a separate thread.
andhra you would follow muhamed if he was
born and preached in india ? are we biased
are we looking for prophets in our own
ethinic group and among sons of the soil?
somehow we can relate to bhuddha rather than
prophets from mid-east?

Not so much as Sons Of SOil syndrome.
If you look at it, Budhha, Mahavir Jain or Guru Nanak didn't claim to have the last word on God, didn't claim to be last prophets.
Nor did they make war. THey didn't classify Humans into believers and infidels either.
Nor did they lay out intrusive rules for their followers.
Like who to marry and how many to marry, how to divorce etc., No dress code for WOmen either.
I think that is what the problem is. May be we like our Prophets to be UnWorldy

Doesn’t fly. In that case it would have been prescribed as a DEsret Religion right?
the verses u mentioned tell u that Muhammad (pbuh) is the last prophet…
others tell u WHY…
so go and read carefully…
or u still dont have any place to copy/paste that
and again YES YES YES YES YES Quran does tell whyMuhammad (pbuh) is thelast prophet…
