Does PPP govt have any plan for the security of the people or they just enjoy killing people, increase the power-cuts and taxes??? the whole country is suffering from the security situation, people are being bombed, shot, mugged, looted at the will of terrorists and all govt is doing, increase in power-cuts, make political moves, increase the tax rate and let the people live on their luck…
Security situation was not this bad three and half years a go, people were not getting killed at a rate or dozen a day, bombs were not being exploding through out the country… there was some troubles but nothing compare to today… What is Rehman Malik Doing??? the current situation tells me, Rehman Malik and his owner, Zardari enjoy when people suffer! if this is not true, then what they have done to stop it??
I remember BB’s era, once when the law & order situation went out of hand, she ordered merciless approach of killing the offenders, in Lahore few were killed and peace was restored… same was done in Karachi, when Javed Langra and Arshad TT of MQM were in action, an operation saw their back and citizens were saved… now it seems like these looters and killers have direct kind of support from Zardari and Co

I don't think so. On Karachi situation, PPP is going to lose the next elections. Unless drastic action like shut down of Karachi for two weeks and start cleansing operation from 90 and move outwards to clean the illegal arms. Kill anyone who resist the cleansing operation. That is only the solution. Otherwise Karachi will remain as killing fields who so ever rule the government in center.

Agreed, The reconciliation mantra haven't worked from last three years, i mean this is not the first time the killing starts, from last 3 years, it is happening every other month...
as you rightly said, a cleanup operation, kill anyone who resist; to add to it, ban carrying weapons or weapons at all

Unfortunately PPP has a history that whenever they come to power, horrible things happen to Pakistan. For example, in 1970 bhutto came in power and in 1971 half the pakistan was lost (regardless of the role of others) and the industrial backbone of pakistan was crushed through nationalization. Whenever BB came into power, the economy took a hit and lawlessness and corruption was rife everywhere. This is the third time that PPP has come in power and this time it seems like they want to make sure that EVERY pakistani city and industry is systematically destroyed. For example, after peshawer, it was karachi and now it will be Quetta. From hajj to railways to wapda to PIA, all the departments are being plundered and destroyed. So in short, I think the only plan PPP has is for how to maximize the damage to Pakistan while minimizing the time span required to do so.

Zardari does not compare to BB.
As you said, we need another operation, such as that headed by the late great Gen.Babar to save Karachi.

Zardari came from back door. People of Pakistan did not vote for him.
He was the leader of the PPP in the elections.
Common sense - when the party wins, the leader will take office.
But as I said in previous posts, even a PPP supporter like me hopes they lose the next national elections so real PPP leaders like Aitazaz Ehsan, Raza Rabbani lead again.

Though Benazir was a corrupt states person she atleast was a states person. She at least tried to solve national issues. Thats not the case with Zardari. I dont think he cares a least bit about whats happening in Karachi, Waziristan or to national economy.

We are going off topic but must say:
Even PPP supporters did not expect /wish him to be the president. He came through backdoor and was 'selected' by few powerful to this position.
Does anyone think the party would have won if it was revealed beforehand that he would be the president selected by the party?
