yea but science is the only thing that has answered a lot of such questions properly logically with facts and backups... not just blindfaith like how it is in religion.. ofcourse theres much more to dig, but we'll keep digging.. if you compare what we know and understand about the earth and the universe today to 200 years ago we've answered hundrds of questions that boggled our ancestors.. life or death situation with no way out?** you mean its a death death situation :P** i'd probably just reflect on my life think about the good times etc before it all ends.... ofcourse... if praying helps you keep ur calm then go ahead do it.. i got no problems with the concept of god cuz i understand it has a lot of benefits (and a lot of drawbacks and problems too unfortunately)
well what I meant was that there was nothing you could physically do to get out but would you have the hope that by some miracle you're saved since anybody would be panic stricken in this kind of situation.
Yea i guess i would do it to calm myself but also to have that tiny bit of hope that a higher power would get me to safety.
isn't it the concept of religion that has the problems and drawbacks since there are so many conflicts and killings between the various religious groups? A belief simply in God doesn't cause conflicts since I don't follow any particular religion or way of thinking.
