Does God Exist?

Re: Does God Exist?

God is a but a manifestation of man's imagination.

It's a term given to all of man's collective fear, apprehension, curiosity, incomprehension and perplexity.

It's a cause man commits to. or is made to commit to. A commitment that is more often than not, mechanical. Not thoughtful. Or really from the heart.

The universe is endless. Or maybe not. It is home to man, god, demon. Or maybe not. we know where we go once we're done here. or maybe not. we know why we came here in the first place. or maybe not. So if we don't know all of this, who does?

Of course it'd be comforting to know someone does. Someone has to, right? That's certainly what we'd like to believe, hey. God knows it. So I should be fine.

I think the beauty of not being tied down and blindfolded *by religion is the chance and scope it provides you to think. Of looking for evidence that leads to a certain direction. and then following it, if need be. Of being open minded enough to know that without evidence, there's no reason to believe. Of acknowledging that if God does exist, he/she/it must surely either laugh or weep at our foolishness in recognizing false divisions within people, all kinds of divisions, the creation of which, surely he/she/it *had nothing to do with.
