That is exactly why people crave scripture and a God they can believe in - to have order in their life and beliefs when answers otherwise will most likely never be proven.
Sure they can, and even be of different races, but that can take millions of years. Just as the mountain passes Allah made were actually created and changed over millions of years. People are of different races with physical traits that are as different night and day or black and white. Common sense tells me that the people of Iceland and the people of the Sudan developed over many a long period of time, longer than most would admit the Quran talks about. I mean why go into the whole story of Adam and Eve and leave out a million years in between? Talk about random.
I find it strange that people who need no other "evidence" than a book (that many would call whimsical) shoot down the theory of evolution, even with all the research, data and proof that backs it up. There is irrefutable evidence and proof of evolution of life on earth. We can't say the same about scriptural stories.
I bet Charles Darwin would have had crap loads of fatwa's on him if he were alive today....the world has not changed much for some ppl since those days.
