Does colour matter?

hmm, actually i understand most urdu, if written correctly. But it takes me like 5 minutes(which i dont have) to read it and understand it…

p.s. i dont have takleef with paki peeps writing in urdu, it’s me who has the hard time understanding it…

btw what is namoona?

I think color matters everywhere because in USA people have a huge superiority complex about black and white.Thats when Obama is a president all conservatives are in shock. You can red US history how negors were slaves. Its not just about Pak its everywhere. :chai:

Re: Does colour matter?

I guess, namoona=masterpiece

True, saying "Dark BUT pretty" is not really a 100% compliment, but its a step closer to people acknowledging that people can be beautiful if they are dark. In paks some people do not even acknowledge natural beauty, just because they cannot see past skin colour.

I definitely sense a trend in younger desi's who are abroad who DO see beyond skin colour, it is now not so important, and thats great.

Saying dark but pretty is the same as saying she's dusky and pretty.. most girls wud use the latter statement but it is the same thing =)

bring on the Bronzer’s…

it’s funny my mum and Aunty tell me not to do black smokey eye make-up, coz it makes me look darker…and one my cousins mum, hides her bronzer’s so she doesnt make her self look dark…:smack:

:smack:

PM me and i will tell you....:p

naaayyy mirch uncle bald or not bald doesnt matter the only thing that matters is the pocket of that bald eagle

In Pak people are obsessed with skin color but in West people are absessed with figure.Girls shape matter here and desans don't have perfect figure at all.

CE, i think he was referring to you calling Pakistani people, “paki peeps” not your understanding of the urdu language :halo:

Re: Does colour matter?

everything matters - its what you want :P

Re: Does colour matter?

gina ur 10% right , i also thnk tht a healty looking skin is a beautiful skin but...these pakistani sasoo maas ... what to do yar ..... their mentality cant be changed ....

I confident girl will work with her color, saasu maa's have changed as well.. they're not as color obsessed as they used to be. Healthy skin, confident personality makes a girl pretty.

People are never happy with what they are blessed…In South Asia, people would do anything to be counted among “gora” category…Girls would slap anything that claims to make them fair on their face and guys would hunt for a gori begum

In the other side of the world, being tanned translates into beautiful and saaxxy:halo:…Women would spend hundreds of dollars in tanning salons or fry themselves up under the sun to get a healthy glow and ogle at men who have nicely tanned body…

So, it’s not only Pakistanis who are struck by color mania.
