does anyone else out there....

use excercise equipment as a clothes/towel hanger etc.
I just cant getmotivated or find the time to excercise. My excercise bike has always got clothes or towels on it. Such a waste! :bummer:

Re: does anyone else out there....

hmmmmmmmmm

Re: does anyone else out there....

get a friend to help you to do excersie etc... it will motivate you
I don't think i would be working out everyday if it wasnt for a good dear friend :~)

My friend sent me entire schedule... and ask me atleast 3-10 times a day :D did you do this did you do this.. its very sweet sometimes when its annoying i make sure they are aware of it and i tell them :D "you are nuts"

and as far as using them for something else--- mine is usually out of the way - so we dont put anything on it..

I spent freakin 1200 bucks on treadmil...

Re: does anyone else out there....

Yeah. I find it very useful as a clothes hanger.

Re: does anyone else out there....

several years back when i first attempted to start working out..i did use mine as a clothes hanger and it made a damn good one 2. lol

Now... 5 yrs later I am proud to say that it doesnt even collect dust. :D

Try getting into a workout regime for at least 6 weeks. This will give u enough time to form a habit. Before you know it you'll.....you'll feel just awful skipping ur routine.

Re: does anyone else out there....

Gosh, curiosity has now peaked my interest at a sky-high level. All moti nani dadi ammas have now started to gather under one roof. These ducklings will make for easy pickings.

Re: does anyone else out there....

Ive got gym membership and i aint been for bout 3 months !!!!

Re: does anyone else out there....

I am so proud to say that we actually use em :D As well as our gym memberships. it feels so good to say that :D

Re: does anyone else out there…

:bummer:

Re: does anyone else out there…

i dont use it because im happy with the way i am (thanks to Allah)…

whenever ive been to the gym…i see how the female instructors look and those girls who’ve been coming for many years…and its NOT what i want to look like (some of them looked like men :yukh: )…hence i decided not to go gym…id rather find other alternatives IF i ever do need it.

Re: does anyone else out there…

exercise is good for your health, not just your physical appearance, also if you exercise you are more active alert and need less sleep, and it makes you strong.

Re: does anyone else out there…

:omg:

Re: does anyone else out there…

first time i hit a 300cal-burn for warmup, that was the last day i slacked off for exercise/gym… ever since then, i’m always ready to hit the gym.. can’t get enough of it.. there were times when i went TWICE in a day .. i started doing gym 7 days a week, shifted my whole life, sleeping pattern, eating habits, so i could accomodate gym-time in there..

its a good thing i dont have fitness equipment in my house, or else i would be on it all the time ..

real strength, real motivation comes from within, not from inspiration, peer pressure or embarrasement of not being able to feel confident in public..

if u cant find the right reasons to exercise, find the wrong ones  comeon now, get on that bike and gimme 2km

Re: does anyone else out there…

as mentioned above by DEVOTED2ALLAh… excercise has many health benefits as well. It prevents heart disease, osteoporosis, reduces high blood pressure, reduces risk of developing certain cancers, reduces risk of developing diabetes, reduces depression…the list goes on and on.

Any doctor can tell you the importance of working out even if you are thin and appear to be fit.

As far as women looking like men…it all depends on what kind of working out you are doing. Do these hollywood actors and singers look like men to u (ie angelina jolie, beyonce, j-lo, julia roberts etc)? they ALL workout.

ive been working out for 5 years now and i assure you i dont look like a man.
