well?? after witnessing all the bashing among us, like Pakistanis bashing Indians, Indians bashing Pakistanis; even Pakistanis calling each other ABCDs, BBCDs and FOBs; arguing about my country is better than yours; bashing among different castes! we have witnessed many arguments like these here on GS… what do you think of yourself?? isn’t it the very basics of the racism?
What measures you take to avoid such confrontations?

I am a racist, unfortunately. I love being proud of my heritage and the place I was born. Rest are not worthy in my eyes.

Enjoying a racist joke , arguing with people is not racism . Racism is when you get a chance to help someone other than your kind but you do not out of your prejudice. Racism is when you hate someone based on their race , religion , gender , creed , culture , language etc etc.
If I argue an Indian about Kashmir issue it does not make me or that Indian a racist. Yes if at work he or I try to hurt each other or we are hostile to each other in a public setting then that is racism.
I hope I am making some sense and just not ranting.

I used to think we, as a nation are incapable of being racist until I realize how some of us treated poor Afghan refugees back in the 90s.
