After getting tired of being treated like 3rd class citizens, called names such as choora and karantay, prosecuted for even hinting that maybe Islam is not the true religion and basically being treated like an outcast of society?
Do you think they will take up arms agains the Pakistani govt? Would they use insurgent like tactics against the Pakistani army or police which might try to stop them?
If they do, most of you will support them right, because they are revolting against injustice and mistreatement and the fact that none of you true Muslims are susceptible to propaganda of the Pakistani govt which will basically label them as terrorists?

I don't think that will happen. but what is going to happen is that the Christians & Hindus (who are able to) will migrate overseas. Already there is a slow trickle overseas.

OK well maybe it's not going to happen. Let's just pretend that a small group of them decides that enough is enough and Pakistan is their land as it is anyone elses. So they declare war. Most Muslims in Pakistan would support their efforts right because they are fighting for justice and equality?

Depends which part of Pakistan you are taling about. In parts of rural Sindh, Hindus are better off than Muslims. But the spread of fundamentalism from other parts of Pakistan are slowly creeping in their as well.

It is not a matter of one person, but society as a whole who are disenfranchised, and in that case it is not simply a matter of religion, but the ethnic class differences as well.

crap.... minorities face as much problem as muslims in pakistan.....but we have people who think "mullahs r killing minoritries"..if tht was the case then there would be no hindu,parsi christians in pakistan....

Not if I read hundred of posts in GS correctly, not one muslim will support them. They should leave Pakistan not by trickle but by drove. There is no room for a non-muslim in Pakistan and sooner they understand it the better. As it is only 3% of Pakistan’s population is non-muslim.

I would support a revolt by minorities in Pakistan.. But it will only happen if their numbers grow and they realize that they deserve better in their own country...
Its shame the way Pakistan treats its minorities... Pakistani Muslims will never see them as anything other then foreigners of second class citizens, even though many have been there for centuries. The only way to win their rights and respect is to fight back against Muslim oppresion.
