Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Last election was hilarious and sad at the same time! I have been looking back at clips of the old election and it was pure comedic genius of Trump. Sadly, electing that Orange Cheetos had real bad consequence, country has no direction and we are going backward. But it was fun to watch!

Given Trump stays in office for these 4 years, you think he will run again? You think he will win?

And here is one of the few clips

and especially this one

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Yes there will certainly be many challengers both Democrats and Republicans to see that Donald Trump looses Bigly in the next De Selection of Trump :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

I read somewhere Trump isnt interested in re-running at all. Well, that takes away 75% of the fun already

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

The next election might not be akin to the Reality TV mess the 2016 elections were, but it will still be interesting to watch.

There is a undeniable far right component bubbling up among #ffffff](http://gupshup.org/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=ffffff) people. I wonder which guy with the ““silent majority”” talking points will come up next.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Democrats had a great night tonight.

Their Governors won in NJ and VA.

De Blasio stays as mayor in NYC.

Maine voted to keep the medicare reaffirming Obama care.

Now they should focus on 2018 Senate elections.

Good things happen when people vote.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Also a major highlight of tonight is that a history has been made tonight. Democrat and Trans woman, Danica Roem, has defeated Republican and anti-LGBT candidate, Bob Marshall, in Virginia. Roem has become the first ever Trans legislator in America.
Now why is this more ironic is cuz Bob Marshall who wrote the anti-trans bathroom bill just lost the election to a trans woman

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

The US Senate special election for Alabama should be interesting.

Here are our candidates:

Roy Moore:
"Moore has earned significant national attention and controversy over his strongly anti-homosexual, anti-Muslim, and far-right[SUP][1]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][2]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP] views, his belief that Christianity should order public policy,[SUP][3]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][4]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP], as well as his past ties to neo-Confederates and white nationalist groups.[SUP][5]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][6]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][7]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][8]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][9]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP] According to Vox, if Moore is elected, he is likely to be the most far-right Senator, “far afield from even the most conservative Republican currently in the Senate.”[SUP][10]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP] Moore was also a leading voice in the anti-Obama birther movement, which promoted the debunked conspiracy theory that former President Barack Obama was not born in the United States, instead being born in Kenya. Moore had also argued that Obama was a secret Muslim.[SUP][11]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][12]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP] Among other beliefs, his view that Christianity should supersede public laws has been cause for criticism and has earned him the nickname of “**Ayatollah of Alabama” by his critics.[SUP][4]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)[/SUP][SUP][13]](Roy Moore - Wikipedia)

Doug Jones:

**“Gordon Douglas Jones (born May 4, 1954) is an American lawyer and politician. He served as a United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama appointed by President Bill Clinton, and rose to prominence for prosecuting the remaining two Ku Klux Klan perpetrators of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing which killed four African-American girls. Jones is the Democratic nominee in the (2017 United States Senate special election in Alabama - Wikipedia) which takes place December 12, 2017.[SUP][1]](Doug Jones (politician) - Wikipedia)”

This is Alabama we are talking about, so I am not too optimistic.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Nah, no chance there in Alabama. Its all conservative and red.

Dems shouldnt be too cocky after last night but something still we all should be proud of:

-2 new Democratic governors
-2 black lieutenant governors
-2 transgender officials
-A Black Lives Matter lawyer as DA in Philly
-A Sikh mayor in Hoboken
-A socialist in Virginia
-To oust GOP mayor in Atlantic City
-And to expand Medicaid in Maine

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

It probably is too much to expect even a little decency from the GOP, enough to not let someone who has ties to white supremacists get into a position like that.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Well LA elected a Dem Governor last year or so… In Alabama cities like Birmingham, there are quite a few reasonable folks. Hard to say anything will happen there but who knows. I visit Birmingham often for meetings and really like that town.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Dude, LA is Cali. The repubs are moving away from there. Its a Democratic land now. Alabama is completely red.

When I talk to my contacts in DNC I tell them they need to change their strategy if they really want to win these red states. But I understand its tough

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

For once, have a strategy for blue collar america. That might mean not pushing bathroom issues. There are two sides to the coin; why can’t the transgender just go to the bathroom that they are supposed to go to and anyone threatening violence there should be prosecuted? Why push something in people’s faces?

I also went to ‘crooked hillary’ campaign website and it had asians for hillary, latinos for hillary etc (you get the picture) while she inadvertently laughed in the face of blue collar whites working in coal mines (not wrong about coal jobs but perception matters). This minority outreach would really rub it in the face of these whites and lets face it, electoral college is not going anywhere and these whites that as a race is 70% of america does need to give support to Dems to win at the state, local and federal level. Compare that to Obama and while he might have lost 1,000 seats to GOP, he still could run a campaign that could resonate with enough whites to get him elected two times.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

I mean LA as Louisiana the State  LA the City elects mayor not Governor.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

LOL..sorry my bad. I thought you were saying it as a figure of speech

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

suan hia amreeki qanon saz idaron main aesay log bhi muntakhib hoye hian.. jinhon nay operation karwa kar apni jins hi tabdeel karli hia…

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

yeah ajkal yehi agenda hai ke har ghalat chez ko legalize kerdo

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

There is no agenda. Its called power of Vote. If people Voted for some one who changed his/her gender, that doesnt mean some agenda. Welcome to 21st century.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

yes in Virginia and She/He defeated the Man who wrote legislation against Transgender people use of Toilets of their Gender of identity. It was hilarious. It was also a pretty sizeable victory. People choice, cant do anything about it.

Re: Do you think next US election would be as fun as last one?

Sweet home Alabama.. :hula:

Winning in a complete red state and spanking a evangelical trumptard is not what I was expecting but it did happen

Moore is a sore loser declining to concede defeat and now pushing for a recount. Proves that pedophiles have no shame

Look at how black population sealed the deal for Jones :ny:
