Do you think God answers your payers?

Re: Do you think God answers your payers?

So, its head I win & tail you lose, eh? Let us extend this beyond that. I see people talking about lottery, or probability of winning lottery. Let says I pray to win lottery, and I win (yay! :D) would it be b/c of chance or would be b/c God answered my prayers (keeping in mind that God apparently does not like gambling)?

Action always =s result. Otherwise, no action=no result. Let me give you “illogical” example. Lets say I fired a gun, but gun jams & does not fire. It is still an action=result (not expected result), but still a result. So, its one or the other (praying to win lottery…I will either win or not. It can’t be both).

Being able to recognize limits of human power does not necessarily make you humble, it just makes you recognize those limits. And, neither does humbleness empowers you to overcome those limits. So, humbleness is just a positive virtue & nothing more.

Again, if God will do whatever he wants (meaning you can’t change his mind with your payers one way or the other) than what is the point of praying? Isn’t that kind of makes praying redundant?
