Re: Do you think God answers your payers?
First let me answer you to what you wrote: “Chance of happening something is always 50/50” and then you wrote about prayer being answered by God.
When you really look at the chances of happening something in real life, it is NOT ALWAYS 100%.
Hence, no one is sure if the prayer would really be heard or not, but when it happens, it is 100% reality that prayer WAS HEARD.
Now if prayer was not performed, and what was not even asked does really happen, that is purely 100% by chance.
Got it.
Beat that now. ![]()
The point is that logic can be played reversed. ![]()
No. Action does not always = equal result. You should know that. ![]()
I am sorry humble here means being aware of not having the power to make something happen, despite all the best efforts.
The process of asking someone higher who has the power of making something happen means that the person is humble. It also makes the person even more humble and realistic.
God likes human to acknowledge this fact that the person in all power may not be able to get what that person desires.
Yes, God will do whatever he wants, but that should not make the person pray since result is not in the person’s control.
Now, prayer can make God grant what is asked for and out of no or negligible chance, something may happen.
I already mentioned the prayer should not stop the person struggle for something.
It is the balance between prayer and doing something to get something which is advised.
Just a related short story here:
A man was on a small boat in the middle of an ocean. His boat had a leak.
Another man came to his boat and said, jump in my boat before you drown.
First man refused and said " My God will save me, I have prayed for help".
Another man came to help this man, the man again and first man again refused.
After this first man refused another (third) person he drowned and went up the sky. He complained to God, I prayed to you for help then why you didn’t help me?
God said to him, I sent three men to you for help and you refused!
