Well, the army has withdrawn. Is there any boot lacky lurking here to tell me what army has achieved besides killing scores of innocent civilians?
Clearly the Peshawar Corps Commander is trying to spin this as a victory.
They attack some village with poorly armed Frontier Corpsmen.
The tribals/jihadis repulse the attack and take hostages
Regular PA attacks and many people are killed on both sides plus lot of civilians
Finally, Army negotiates and withdraws
There has been no surrender of the bad guys

Please don't post if you have nothing more to say other than personal insults.
The supposed reason for this operation was to capture some top terrorists, but instead many jawans got martyred and the Corps Commander says there will be a withdrawal.
If we were going to negotiate and withdraw, then why not do so in the first place, before alienating so many people? Is it just to show America that we are "serious"?
