Do you support Shahbaz Sharif's deportaion?

Do you support Shahbaz Sharif’s deportation?

  1. Yes

  2. Yes because he had made a deal with govt to stay in exile for 10 years.

  3. No

  4. No because Supreme Court ruled that he should be allowed to return.

(poll requeted by Zakk)

i will say yes !!

yes, not just for him, but for all those lazy corrupt AHs.

No because the decision to ignore the Supremem Court in effect means that it might as well be turned into a hotel and make itself useful by earning some money.

:k: :k:

ie If you ever wanna Pakistan to be a democracy you need to follow the Law of the land.

If supreme court says something and Admin goes against it that is basically Contempt of Court!!

Apart from all the holla hoppa (It may be the wrong thread for this, if so please do forgive me), The act of the Pakisani Government in Deporting (Faisal bhai not my words this is what the Pakistani press is saying) SS was a BLUNDER, I think he would be better off in a Pakistani Jail awaiting trial!!!

That is if PROVEN GUILTY.

enough said!!!

no...cuz that has made a mockery of pakistan's judicial system...

if musharraf and co. doesnt believe in the credibility of the courts, he should just send them packing to avoid any other 'contempt of courts' in the future...

YES its a good move! :)

Those of you who think it's a good move can you explain to me how crapping all over the Supreme Court reflects well on how Pakistan is run?

If he has convictions ranged against him why couldn't he have been arrested and charged instead?

Some people often defended Musharraf in the past, claiming Sharifs left Pakistan on their own wish? This time a Sharif has been illegitimately prevented from entering Pakistan. What do those say now?

Then they should first deport Musharraf's cabinet

Yara, you cant say it with a straight face. Spreme Court of Pak is joke. Our judiciary weak ineffective and politicized.

I voted yes, because the less we have the Sharif/Bhtto families in Pakistan, the better off we will be.

But hwo are you to decide?
If tomorrow SPock thinks that it will be better for Pakistan if RajputFury is outside pakistan, should you be expelled.

But unlike BB/NS, Rajputfury hasnt looted the country

And, therefore, unlike RajputFury, they should be thrown in the jail and tried to the fullest extent of the law.

Forcibly deporting someone is a sign of weakness. It just gives the impression that the government is worried that this person in jail will destabilize the government. And that, frankly, is even more pathetic. If a government is so weak that it is nervous of someone in the jail, then they really have no business being in the government.

If supreme court is a joke it is because of the army and its illegal oathes.

Thats true. Although Pakistani politicians see jailtime as rite to passage. They end up creating a sutuation where their suppoters agigitate for their release. If proven guilty of corruption and actions against Pakistan's national integrity, Politicians or whomever should be given the death penalty.

Until harsher measures are adapted and wrongdoers punished, the corrupt of Pakistan will keep on coming back to loot more money, oppress more people.

I would say yes. Since he or they signed or agreed with the ruling junta to stay away from Pak for an agreed term.

Shabbaz once in Mochi Darwaza, sang 'mery Moula Madinay bulla lo mujhay'....I think rarely, prayers are heard so literaly.

another poin is that the following used to be favorite sheyr of Shahbaz.

watn ki mitti muhay arriyaan raggarnay day
mujhay yakin hai chashma yahi say nikla ga

I wonder why then he instead kissed the ground, upon his arrival, instaed of rubbing his heals.

ppl let us not forget how NS bought all the judges of the High and Supreme court back in 93 (i think), when his govt was sacked by president Ishaq Khan (thanks to 13th amendment). Also dont forget that whenever a govt came into power, all its "chailas" had cases against them dropped, and were free to roam and loot.
As far as SS deportation is concerned, i think it had more to do with the Chaudry's of Gujrat who felt insecure for their newly found position of power, had SS come back.
