Do you prefer to eat karhi with roti or rice?

I love karhi. I know some people just hate it (oh, well… more for me!;))

I’m making karhi tomorrow. Any ideas on a side veggie (has to be veggie) to go with?

I prefer karhi with roti. I don't think I'd like the texture of it with rice. But then again...I'm more of a roti person (not that into chawal).

Both. In the dinner with rice and the following day with roti! Gujrati people eat it Arhur (toor daal) kichri - another good combination.

jo bhi paka lay ayoo .. bhook l mare jaan nikal rhi hai ..... but if karahi with rice to kiya baat ho gi ....

Both.

Mix karhi and chawal and then eat with roti . Yum yum.

I agree, I can not stand it with rice. It is either roti or a nice tandoori naan for me with it
