No one has answered my question. Why is this considered an amazing community as compared to other locations in Pakistan? It's not like it's some gated community where no robberies happen, or the light never goes out, etc.
well its a well planned society,spaciouse,with parks and mosques everywhere,good shopping centres and phase 5 has all the underground wiring system.like there u wont see the nets of electricity wires.this society has custom build houses for rich people ,there houses are operated by suigas genrators and they have build in dishwashers and fully automatic washing machines:D

How does model town rank when compared to defence? I know someone who keeps complaining about her husband having to send a lot of money back home to support his family’s “model town” lifestyle.

No, I don't live in defense. I did go there however to visit a relative, can't see what the big deal is about. Sure the house was big and nice but right around it were piles of garbage, lots of litter, plus they still had water and electricity issues.

I can count on one hand the number of humble and down-to-earth folks that we know from these areas while the list of spoiled rotten children and grand-children from there is unending......

It is quite lame to make generalisations like this about any area whether it be defence or walton or whatever! :halo:
And what is even more lame is people labelling anyone and everyone with money as having an “ego” i mean really, its overdone now
