Yes this couple met online............. after their marraige...the husband was participating in a virtual reality chat room..........where his wife caught his virtual character cheating with another woman in this game.........
She filed for divorce........
this happened in England was on the news..

Yupp, these recent cases regarding virtual stuff are weird. there was this case in Japan I think where one person was charged with murder for hacking into partner's (or ex's) gaming account and putting some dead or chopped head character as his/her avatar.

i met few online friends in person, apart from one who was horible control freak to live with contrary to her online behavior, all others are amazing peaple and one could live with them all life without any problem at all. apart from one I didnt have a love affair but just friendship and met once.
one was already married!
one was rejected by family sadly!
one i lost cause of my own stupid error of judgment that i regret until present day!
all of them still my friends and we do chat once in a bluemoon now.
