''Thousands flee Banglore''

Re: ‘‘Thousands flee Banglore’’

Perhaps it’s a good idea that Pakistani channels aren’t giving too much coverage to this news. It has sparked violence in many parts of India because Indian muslims and non-muslims alike are pretty darn angry. Desi awaam loves revenge, they’ve already taken matters into their own hands in places like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik etc.

After all these repercussions, what makes the authorities so sure that there will be no clashes in Bangalore? To me it seems like the government is hell-bent on trying to portray that everything is under control or everything is a part of a “big conspiracy” and “rumour-mongering”.

Forget Bangalore, they’re claiming that Assam is perfectly safe for the survivors to return to. Over 400,000 people from Assam had been rendered homeless and they were given a deadline of 15th August to leave the relief camps and go back home because everything was fine and dandy. These people have nothing left to go back to, everything has been destroyed. The only statement I’ve read from the Assam minister is that the survivors will be provided with relief and compensation but absolutely no details of how exactly the government plans on providing security and shelter to these people once they return.
