A friend of mine gifted me this exquisite statue of Lord Ganesha. Since Pancha Ganapati (Winter Solstice festival for those who don’t know) is around the corner i thought it would be perfect timing to set it up in my living room. So who else here is ready for Pancha Ganapati?
You should have a wall of peace at your home. Just a separate section where you can hang symbols from different religions. A good conservation piece and a good way to teach kids about all the religions.
Just don’t hang this piece next to a menorah. The close resemblance to Nazi swastika might be offensive to Jews.
Re: Do you have a statue of Lord Ganesha in your home yet?
What concern? Is everything okay sir?
Thank you kindly for your advice Mr. LK.
I love how Pakistanis love to throw their unsolicited opinions and advices on people. It was a simple question folks, asking if you are ready for Pancha Ganapati. Do Pakistanis have problems comprehending the English language?
Re: Do you have a statue of Lord Ganesha in your home yet?

Re: Do you have a statue of Lord Ganesha in your home yet?
Dear Mr. Cashmere, pray tell us where you located the defective syntax?
But Sir Cough i did already mention that i will be putting it up in my living room.
Mr. Cashmere, plenty of defective syntax here.
Dear Mr. Queer is this how brown people roll in the bhirginia? I cannot be Mr. PG. There are a lot of other eligible pyaaray cay gudday trying very hard to become Mr. PG.
And to emphasize the point i made earlier once more, no one has yet responded to my initial query. Is it really that difficult folks?
Re: Do you have a statue of Lord Ganesha in your home yet?
Respect for all but no, I wouldn’t do anything like hanging the statue of ganesha in my house. If I had to do it for spiritual reasons, it would conflict with my own religious beliefs and if I just treat it like a showpiece then I think that would be disrespectful to theirs.
Re: Do you have a statue of Lord Ganesha in your home yet?
I wouldn’t hang it or even keep it in my house. Yes, I respect others and their different beliefs. But I can do that without having to keep their religious symbols in my house.
