It’s that time of year.
When we all get together and have an intense religious, and cultural debate regarding the uplighting of a Christmas tree in our home.
Even though I currently dont partake, I think when I have kids I will be putting up a tree.
what do you guys think?

I guess its good fun for kids if they see their friends doing it with their families.. no harm in putting one up if thats the case, but i wouldn’t make a big deal about it.

We used to have one when I was a kid (my mom is Christian) but not anymore.

Yeah well thats it isnt it? Its just for the kids. Dont need go hardout but a tree and presents is fine, in my opinion. Just an excuse to celebrate being together and give each other gifts.

Oh yes… I have a lot of planning for a christmas tree…not only that but my hubby has bought a costume for santa claus which he will wear that night and distribute presents among kids Lol… oh… im so snxiously waiting to wish Marry Christmas to everyone

hmmm, I think that might be bit too much.
No…i think that would be too much for me. Thanksgiving is different…Xmas has too much of a religious (Christian) feel to it. They do look so pretty tho

Nah, I do find them gorgeous. But I won’t actually put one up. That’ll be going a bit over the top.

I’m pretty sure my parents would trip out at the mere mention of putting up a tree. But I do agree they are pretty.

No i won’t put up christmas tree..but they have got big christmas tree at work. Everyone asked to participate in secret santa…so still gota figure out the gift..

That’s fair enough. I can totally understand why one wouldn’t.
We put lights on the big house plant and for fun we hang real socks on the mantle. It’s more for fun and festivity. Xmas season is like the flu, you can’t help but catch it.
