do you hate..

chalaak people?..why or why not?

who likes chalaak ppl anyway? but i guess is dunya mein rehne ke liye you have to b sharp and a quick thinker. chaalaki i think would be in a negative way where you plan negative things, negative words etc...... but if we start hating these people, there would be no one left to love in this world. :D

Re: do you hate..

Wow man, my eyes are actually hurting from reading all these replies and replying to them hehe..

I agree chalak people are not welcome anywhere but see in English chalak has two meanings, smart and cunning/wicked, what are you asking? chalak as in she is knowledgable and can think about solutions and she is always smart enough and helps people or chalak as in she is a cunning wicked little ***** who ruins relationships and puts peoples minds in a twirl?

BTW you beat me to this topic, i was just about to open it and was definitely thinking about it!

yeahh..thats truee..unfortunately..saad eh?..:(

aisha..im talkin about the wicked type of challaak!..

chalaaki is considered both in a positive way and in a negative way... positive as in if you are very smart to claim your own rights and don't hurt anyone... negative as in if you hurt others to get what you want...

so it depends in what context you are talking about chalaak people...

if they are bad chalaak people then its wise to stay away from them be careful when dealing with them...

i dont hate chalaak people... i try to be nice with everyone... Allah is there to handle them... and trust me it works... i have experienced it... hehehe

honey, take a break and have a kit kat :)

i wish if i had waited for three minutes to read Aisha's post before replying... heheh

Re: do you hate..

Oh i think that should have been obvious enough to me, yes well see these kinds of people we personally do not like them but we love to hear stories about them and their "karnamey" and the gossip and rumours that goes around about them. That is how we are, we would never want to be one (I hope so to GOD) but we do not want these kinds of people to just vanish as well because then there will not be any mirch masala in life.

yeah it cud be both ways but 90 percent of the times in desi society, when we say chalaak, we mean the 'wicked' woman... you know always upto some plotting :D

hahahaha but so true :o

Mall, i am actually going to go get a diet coke and watch dvd of FREIJ:blush:
this is officialy my last reply:blush:

Restless it is in your nickname, you are restless and yes i am quicker then you:p more chalak then you but you know in the good sense

See how i think?? I do think and when i think i think deeply…

Just imagine what kind of a person you are talking to right now:blush:

hahaha! i shudder to think  we 2 do think alike! gud for you, enjoy ur coke… goodbye!

Re: do you hate..

lol dont shudder:p yes well it is good to have something in common, alright bieee :D

yup, i think my nick really suits me well… in fact it was a split second decision to choose this nick… and yay i got it correct this time… hehehehe!

its so hard to communicate to each other… how do people write so many posts and then follow them as well…

hmmmm ask Aisha… she seems to b pretty gud at this stuff.. she can guide you

sure, i will ask her... but its tough though...

alright, back to the topic...

Lets compare women in our society and women in western society... and why women in our society are more chalaak as compared to women in west...

Women in our society mostly don't work... and because of this they have plenty of time to talk about others and pull others down... that's my point of view... but if women in our society start working i don't think they will have enough time to talk about others and try to become chalaak...

but its not just women who are chalaak... there are men also who are chalaak... why men are chalaak??? may be because of the economic/financial pressure that they face in our society... or may be its with their upbringing... if a mother is chalaak then there is chance that the son is also very chalaak...

but i don't think that we can justify it like this... can we?

Re: do you hate..

as long as it not chalaaki with me

well without being a "apne moun mia mithu" yes i am good and see i know a conversation is going on and a conversation in which i am involved also i make it a point to actually follow it and reply and give my two dirhams here and there.
