Have you ever seen the person who pretends to be talking on their phone to either make themselves seem more important than they are or avoid talking to someone else and then RING!!!! Their phones goes off and gives up the game :D

This is what people do when they get socially awkward. I will actually tell people to put the phone away or else I can leave and entertain myself if that's all I'm going to be doing anyway in their presence. That pretty much puts an end to it.

Probably the most awkward moment for me is to stop at the red light and see someone one knows grinning from ear to ear and waving. I absolutely totally avoid such ‘taakras’ and that’s when I am always pretending to check my cell
