I don't .. .. depends on person .. if he/she is important then i do both .. but for couple of times .. but if he/she is not .. i neither forget nor forgive .. .. !!

forgiveness is best but my mind just won't get me to forgive, i'm working on that flaw of mine

I think i can forgive but i would hardly forget and that stands for people and matters close to my heart. Otherwise many a times i would have an argument with someone say like at one of the topics here at the forum but i wouldnt even remember it next time or hold that against them. But if its something of real importance and worth to me , I still may forgive but forget i cant.

I think the saying should be "forgive and move on." Cuz it's not possible to literally forget. We tend to remember things that affected us deeply (good or bad). Can't be erased from your memory.

Whether I forgive and how soon I move on depends on the degree of the offense and the frequency. I might forgive you, but I certainly won't forget. I think it's important to learn from the negative experience so that you can be more careful around the person next time.

Forgive but never forget...

Often I have been mercifull and regretted it afterwards...

Too many times i've been kind and then literally been stabbed in the back... only consolation I have is that I hold the moral high ground but thats not as good as being the best on paper... at the end of the day the record says it all.

I agree it's sometimes is better to forgive but never forget. You remember it for next time. Plus it depends on what happened.

I forgive and forget...alhumdulillah. I just don't make the same mistake again and never let that person do what they did to me in the first place. If they don't stop, then i adapt a distance.

Forgiveness is a great deed. Keeps your heart clean.

I do not forget but I may still trust the person again :smack:
