Bro I was trying to make a conclusion from what you were telling me.

I am saying that ALLAH tells that he has made a deal with some people. Then he gives details on those believers ALLAH has made deal with. One of the condition that apply is they kill on way of ALLAH and then get killed.

how can apply to someone who doesnt even meet all the conditons ALLAH applys.

imo the verse speaks to include both who are shaheed and the vetrans. the purchase part is not being killed or fighting alone but submission to Allah SWT. ie those submitted to Allah SWT (swapped this worlds treasures for the hereafter) and they follow the complete deen.

now because life is a test and it is NOT easy to get into heaven, the test of fighting for the cause is further emphasised. it really tests our BELIEF and level of submission. ie they kill and are killed
