i have not ignored but i think it is better to first clarify the position of the believers better known as SAHABA (radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu) in the eDEEN approved for us by Allah SWT in the Quran.

Bro, Sahabas and Believers are not interchangeable terms. And this very verse is an excellent proof of that. For further proofs you could analyse other verses of the holy Quran that talk of the Sahaba, study Hadiths that are commonly accepted, or examine history where can see that many grand Sahabas came out in battles against each other without anybody using this verse as an evidence of their truthfulness.
