For some reason, Chapter 3, verse 8 (I hope I got that right) has stuck with me. It says something to the effect of:

'This book* has* some verses which are unclear/gray. Yet, the true believers will take the more conservative meaning and avoid sin. The others will choose an interpretation that benefits them. ’

Verse number 7 of Aal e Imran (as). This is a key verse of the Holy Quran when it comes to understanding/interpreting the message this book contains. The 2 verses following are connected to this verse. I wish we could discuss this verse after the ones we are already discussing here briefly.
