No hindko areas of NWFP should be included in Pakhtunistan. If you discourage even social contact between different ethnic sub-groups of Pakistan because you fear some sort of assimilation, you should be man enough to distance yourself from the ethnic sub-groups within your own area. Or is it their land? Strategically important projects and strong infrastructure? By the way, Kashmiri-Punjabi prime minister based in Lahore used to win big from Haripur.

Your concern for Hindko speakers is touching..but frankly the decision has nothing to do with people from other provinces..it’s an internal matter and the resolution was passed almost unanimously..(many of it’s biggest supporters were Hindko speakers from peshawar and kohat, many of the Kohistanis supported it as well and the seraiki speakers have not ever made an issue out of it so putting an ethnic angle on it is just a figment of a lot of peoples imagination)..there was no objection in a single protest of any significance in the province except one isolated one in abbotabad back in 1997…most of the pathan bashing that followed the renaming resolution was done by the urdu press in lahore and not by hindko speakers in hazara.

If using ethnic names for provinces offends you so much ..try renaming your domiciled one to something else..
