Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
Don`t worry mate, we definitely will find another one just like we did last time.

Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
I don't know the whole story behind your concept of " Allah is not everywhere" but from an islamic perspective Allah ( God) transcends space and time so He is Everywhere. We can not assign Him physical attributes. His presence can not be limited to certain place. He is Omnipresent.
anyway i don't want to divert attention from the main subject in this thread but i thought i'd make a comment on one of your posts.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
So islam preaches pantheism according to u.
Okay.... you and perhaps many others are contradicting one of your famous scholars.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
Also, we say - that house 'belongs' to me, that car 'belongs' to me, that thing belongs to me etc etc etc. It is your attribute or in general human attribute.
and according to islam "everything 'belongs' to god" and not god is everywhere.
"belongs to god"....so, this statement again gives human attributes to god.

With all due respect I don't know anything about pantheism but when i read about it i'll be able to comment and secondly could you please tell me which scholar are you referring to?? My comment was about God's Omnipresence which means He ( " he" is used as a frame of reference, it doesn't mean he has human attributes) Transcends space and time. There is enough in Quran and Hadith( sayings, actions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) to learn about God's attributes. Please read up on it when you get a chance.
Besides, if you read my post i said God doesn't have "Physical attributes" so we can not discern him by the way we perceive things through our senses. I did not say human attributes so please pay attention next time.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
Pantheism preaches god or divinity is everywhere. Scholar is Dr zakir naik.
Sorry for the confusion, My above post was not for you. That statement is by zakir naik.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
I never understood why we need a God
It would be very nice if there were a God who created the world and was a benevolent providence, and if there were a moral order in the universe and an after-life; but it is a very striking fact that all this is exactly as we are bound to wish it to be.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
If God has spoken, why is the world not convinced?
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
there is order in the universe and disorder does not negate the existence of God, it is a matter of belief or disbelief. everyone reads the signs on earth and in the universe differently. To some they r the signs which point to God's existence and to some they don't.

Thank you for your information and explanation.

It is usually
when men are at their most religious
that they behave with the least sense
and the greatest cruelty.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
that's where religion is hijacked by a few and the people who are considered most religious are actually extremists , fringe elements. God's world is a place of peace, love and tolerance. It also doesn't allow anarchy and disorder either.

That is my point, why can`t we just get rid of religion and start living in peace, with love and be tolerant. becoz when one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
Funny.. i actually know much more about delusions, insanity :) so i think i'll get back to you on that but we wish we had scientific and logical explanation of everything. Still lack of knowledge or logical explanation for something doesn't mean that thing doesn't exist. Human knowledge is exapnding and there will never be an end to it.

Gudhey,
Did you read the link Dushi gave. Yes we know Allah is everywhere but she is saying this in a sense of cursing somebody. Read the link first.
Thanks for replying though ![]()

Your curses are a result of your viewing/hearing/reading reported cruelties and inhuman massacres. What you forget is that Allah sees all these acts immidiately as they take place. “Hu Allahul Baseerun Khabeer” - Quran. Also because Allah is everywhere He keeps following these killers where ever they go, the same way that He follows the rest of all humans. " Wa Huwa Maa’kum! Aina Maa Kuntum!" - Quran.
Therefore always ask for Allah’s justice and mercy. Never curse! Cursing will attribute your own shortcomings to get magnified. And your good deeds like all others are few! And by justice alone a very few stand the chance of Allah’s reward of forgiveness. His mercy is the only source and cause of our being forgiven and allowed to enter heaven, His abode.![]()

Mr.Singh. I am certain that you are not a Momin(Muslim) from your posts. A Momins belief on Allah comes from the belief on this** Kalimeh: " Aamantu Billahi Kamaa Hua Biasmaaihi Wa Sifaatihi Wa Qabiltu Jamiyaa Ahakaamihi, Iqraarum Billisaani Wa Tasdeequm Bilqalbi ". Translation : " I believe in Allah, as are His names and His attributes ( in Quran), and I accept all His commandments (in Quran) in speech by my tongue and in verification by my heart."**
Thus Allah's throne Kursi is not **only *on the universe or in it, but encircling every thing on this earth and in the heavens above! *" Wasiyu Kursiyuhussamaawaati Walardi" - Quran:Aayatul Kursi (Suratul Baqrah)**
And Allah is with you where ever you go! " Wa Huwa Maa'kum Aina Maa Kuntum" - Quran.
So Mr. Singh, Allah is nearer to you than your own jugular veins that pump your hearts blood into your brain from where all your misconceived thoughts about Him arise either out of ignorance, or from Allah forbid, mischief. I think your own Hindu faith tells you that your Creator is Omnipresent. Does it not? If so, then why so many posts to scratch the truth out from the mouth of us Muslims?
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
i was just wondering why there is no mention of the dark matter and the dark energy in the universe in any of the religious scriptures since it is 95% of what this universe is made up of..visible matter like stars, planets etc is only 5%.
May be thats where God is in the dark matter and the dark energy which we can not comprehed or see.
Re: Do you ever wonder, where God is?
yup....my faith preaches that. But many posts because many muslims have doubts about what their faith preaches. or rather were giving contradictory answers. and also to prove that, I said in one thread, true nature of god is extremely difficult to comprehend. thats why u find henotheism, monotheism and pantheism in my faith.
