You’re right. Belief is not reason. However, belief is supported with reasoning. Reasoning if giving to us through sources, in this case, Islamic texts. I see no point in arguing further when there is a disagreement on the authenticity of the texts in the first place.

ps, to undertand why apes still exists you have to understand those apes who are our ancestors are extinct and others species live today…for that you have to be able to reaason in four dimension…such reasoning is usually acquired through science studies…

I studied human evolution theory in grade 11. For my World History class.

I have something ask of you and sal35. Please show me where the skeleton of the human geneology derives itself from the apes.

I hope u know thats why its a theory, because after years of searching no link has been found.

Islam tells me, Adam and Eve produced the human race.

Because they were GIANT in size.

I believe that because it is supported by today's discovery of the early humans, who were giant in size.

No discovery of APEHUMAN skeleton has been found. the link is missing.

SO how can you reason with that THEORY in the first place.

Also, the Intelligent Design controversy thoroughly disproves the Theory of Evolution. There is no way whatsoever that the human body could be formed of a series of exact ratios and proportions based upon the number phi if this was all just a "natural" evolution of some sort. The golden ratio is seen throughout our entire body, I find it unbelievable that this is all just a result of evolution. The human body is an intelligent design, along with plants and animals. I see no way that this can be evolved from one species of an animal, which still even exists today. Read up on the Golden Ratio.
Also, how would you explain the different skin colors of human beings? Did the ancestors of white people just lay in their caves all day as opposed to ancestors of other races?

P.S. The skelaton that was claimed to be of a "homosapien" or whatever was never even complete, so there is no justification in saying that it was the skelaton of one of the phases of evolution.

The question imposed in this thread is whether we believe in the evolution of theory or not?

My answer is no.

I am providing support to my answer with references to the Quran, which is at conflict with this theory. Refer to Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Verses 30 to 37, in which the Quran reveals the creation of man by Allah (swt).

Justification of this support being authentic raises a completely different argument, and that is whether Islam is the "correct" religion or not. If you would like to argue this, then it should be done so in another thread with that topic at hand.

Parissenoor - In essence, you are implying that belief can not be supported, and it is dependant on whether you choose to believe it or not. I beg to differ. Belief can be supported (with the given scripture), and so can the authenticity of Islam.

dear phati i will NOT argue about religion in any way, mullah taught me at the mosque not to do it…they said it is evil that tempts you to deny islam…so i follow their recommandations. they also told me not to call muslims interpreting quran in other way as bad muslims or non muslims, because only Allah knows so others may be more in the right than myself hence i am not judging anyone interpretation of quran as true or false.
i will only tell you that belief is belief, if you feel the need to argue it it means your faith is weak, faith is blind and needs no argument!
faith is strong and sustain all the opposition, what seems to be contradicting may not be, enhance your thinking, and you’ll discover that beyond all appearances are some essence of truth that can never be grasped without deep understanding, deep thinking…

it will require some years…but with intelligence anyone can achieve it

Darwin’s theory is as revolutionary as the one that “Earth Is Round and moved around the Sun”. Today nobody says, earth is flat or sun moves around the sun. In the same way, tommorrow everybody will say that Darwin was correct. For me, personally, he is one of the hero of scientific world. I always have deep regard and respect for people like Darwin, Pasteur, Jenner for their great work.

My friend that was copernicus, Galilleo, and other scholars of the renaissance period.

And Quran already proved that.

Anyways, some people can't expect younger generation to be much more intellectual than them.

Even when we have much more knowledge than older folks. And are tune with the more enhanced knowledge. UNlike that thought in the old days when they were going to school.
