if you talk about science then Science itself is not sure about the begining. I mean there is this evolution theory but it has gr8 many flaws and some scientist don't feel that its correct.
some researcher did came to this conclusion that all human were originated from ONE pair, but this theory itself needs some refining.

^ i believe that theory more, 1. because its in tune with the religious beliefs, and 2. it makes sense.
Prehistoric humans were huge in size, and its possible for them to give many births. Thus a pair cud be responsible for massive populations.
As for we evolved from ape. Darwin himself is an ape.

and there is this recent research which tells that human can live up to several hundred years IF their genetic defects are fixed. which again proves that in the beginning human had more life span as there were fewer genetic defects. (and Islamic scholars do tell us about several hundred years old prophets. Adam himself lived about 1100 years

I think the theory of evolution is interesting, and I like reading about it as much as I can…

I do not believe in evolution theory. I go with what my religion says about the origin of species. Its the faith that makes me believe in it. The rationale behind my belief is: "If people can believe in Darwin, why cant we believe in several prophets whose itengrity has been beyond doubt?"

^ Our reasoning is that the teachings of Islam contradict with this theory. Whether Islam is valid is a completely different argument.

The subject of Human evolution is interesting and it's one of my favourite subject for the present moment. I have gone through several articles on this topic. The current scientific research suggests that human species branched off from apes around 7 million years ago and then a series of human species came off. The research is underway to piece together all the events of 7 million years of human evolution and one day we will know the whole truth.
As for as current human species is concerned, it emerged around 1,60,000 years ago from Africa and spread around. At this period two other human species co-existed with us but these other two finally disappeared (Human Erectus and Nenderthal if I remember well). Nenderthal in Europe co-existed with us until 30,000 years ago. There were speculation that there was possibly a mixing between Nenderthal and Europeans. But brilliant research by a German scientist between 1999 and 2001 proved beyond doubt that present human species never mixed with Nenderthals and Europeans and rest of the humans have same ancestry.
I have made this posting as brief as possible to explain the essence of Human Evolution.
I am a strong believer of Darwin's theory of evolution.

Failing to reason is called stupidity because thats what the age of “enlightenment” thought the french and the english.
Failing to reason in religion in that sense is also stupidity. Because religion holds the truth to life. Failing to recognize that truth makes you an atheist, and thus stupid. 
Even the renaissance thinkers, who introduced the idea of REASONING were god fearing, because they knew the world could not exist without reason.
To think reasonably, you have to have faith. To have faith you must believe in a religion.
There is no reason to determine humans came from apes.
If so, why are there apes in the world today? why aren’t we all human?

ps, to undertand why apes still exists you have to understand those apes who are our ancestors are extinct and others species live today…for that you have to be able to reaason in four dimension…such reasoning is usually acquired through science studies…
