There are 9999 creations of ALLAH. Humans, animals, jinns, angels, moakillat make 5 only. There are many creations un-seen by us. Some are bad, some are good.

They dont have the ability to fly, but their movement is teleportation.

Talking in terms of spirituality and black magic, a bad Spirit (bud-rooh) is also capturable. A good spirit is a strong spirit and cannot be captured by a black magician. A bad spirit is the one who in his life kept doing bad deeds, suffers its doings in the grave and a black magician may sit in a graveyard and keep doing chillas there and once succeeds may use a bad spirit for his notorious tasks. This is also a topic on its own.

Also maybe it’s only the definition of “flying” but Prophet (pbuh) has said:
“There are three types of jinn. **One type flies through the air. **
Another type consists of snakes and dogs. A third type is based in one place but travels about.” (Related by al-Hakam, at-Tabrani and al-Bayhaqi.)

Can you provide any evidence of “capturing bad spirits” in the Quran or Sunnah?
