Why is it that you just run away from something written in a scripture. Obviously for some reason muslim put their faith in the Quran. Our scripture is the ONLY scripture which has survived the test of time and that is the testament to its veracity. Quran and Bible have no comparison when it comes to its history of authenticity and preservation and also when its verses are studied against modern scientific data. Most of the hostility extended to muslims under the very pretext that religion is flawed is the failure of Christian scriptures not Islamic ones. Bible was authored by people not Quran. Obviously I am not out of my mind to believe this either. What I want from you is to explain to me how the verses in the Quran which can be interpreted based on modern scientific data are in accordance with scientific facts when such knowledge could not have been possessed by any man of that century or even centuries later? The answer is obvious for someone with the least bit of intellectual honesty, it wasn't mans doing but it had divine or some external influence to it. This gives me all the reason to believe in the creed of that scripture as well i.e. GOD or ALLAH. And again evolution is not a proven fact for human origins but remains on ongoing research with tremendous loopholes and assumptions. The very premise of its research today is to analyze it from the viewpoint that if God was not the one responsible for creating humans then how could we have come about. Its a hypothesis.
Now, I feel what Darwin would have gone thru, a couple of centuries ago.....it seems like we still have ppl from that era in this forum.
