Do we ever learn from history?

Re: Do we ever learn from history?

The Mr. Clean of Pakistan's Politics, pure and simple. Even acknowledged by his opponents. It's unfortunate that he was not given a chance (elected) to form a government, he would have left a lasting impression on good governance. Although, offered twice by Gen. Zia to form government, Asghar Khan refused.
His son the late Omar Asghar has left a legacy of an increadable amount of development work he did in the rural areas of Hazara. It was quite obvious from his funeral in June 02. rest his soul.
