when ur spouse/fiance/boyfriend calls you HONEY,JAAN,JAANO,LOVE,(other nicks) in public or infront of ur relatives,friends???
No way I don't like it, my hubby called me by name not by any other niks.

Since we've known each other, we've always called each other by nick names we come up with all the time. We use none of them in public except 'baby'. In fact, it's almost like calling each other by our real names..! :p
So in public, in front of family, friends, anyone you can imagine, it's always 'baby'.

We always call each other sweetheart or baby ... and sometimes it's weird infront of family but it slips out and after that we just look at each other and .. you know!! But it doesnt matter what we call each other, I'd prefer anything as long as it's me he keeps calling that!!!

I've never like nicknames for some reason. It doesn't sound respectful. It sounds demeaning in someway. My parents never had nicknames for each other either. My phupo used to call her husband 'dofey'. I never understood that. It was like she was calling him 'dopey'.

i have never gone through such situation, cz i dont have any, but still, if there would be someone in my future calling me tht way at public place, i wont like it.

Its probably convenient for him to use honey jaan etc especially if he has more than one "honey" and he does not want to be confused by calling the wrong name...!!!

My hubby has always used one nick with me.. and my whole family knows about it. They usually call me that too when they are teasing...
sometimes, even my bubz calls me that...
in front of parents and relatives it is a big no no...hubbi calls my by my nickname wen we are either on our own or on the phone to each other..sumtimes it is a slip of the tongue in front of others

i wudnt mind bein called a niknme such as babez/jaani in front of frendz bt nt not to keen abwt it infront of family.. although sumtyms it is a slip of the toungue, and it duznt seem too bad or embarassing....

I have already decided a name for my (wife) even though i am not married yet lol....and the nick is "little sparrow":D, thats what i am gonna call her....hope she will like it :)
