^ lol!
we have lots of nicknames between us, but in public, we usually revert to “honey” with each other. why wouldn’t you in front your family? you’re married, for cryin’ out loud! i can’t do the whole “suniyeh” or “ji” thing ![]()
its funny cos now when my family wants to tease him, they call him “honey” too lol
Re: Do U Like It
I dont understand why people dont like to call their spouse jaan or honey or baby or sweety or whatever in front of family and friends. Im not saying you should be ripping off your clothes and making out in front of them, but there is nothing wrong with showing a little affection like a sweet nickname!
Re: Do U Like It
talk about being uptight, no wonder everyone's so unhappy here... if you cant call your loved one/significant other by their nicks, whats next, 'abba jee mey apni biwi se baat kar sakta hoon'?
**Thats so funny when couples do that…one of my close friends calls her hubby that…n i jst burst out laughing everytime…so y!!! ![]()
^ Agree!
We call each other by nicknames. I call him honey but i say it so quick that no one realises what i called him…
Re: Do U Like It
My mum calls my dad something which noone else does. It's stuck. But only she uses it. Very very cute!
As for my hubs, I don't know. The future will tell. I think nicknames are cute.

Re: Do U Like It
ok so whats wrong with calling ure spouse a loving nick in front of your folks?! sheesh.. grow up folks. if you cant handle your parents knowing the nicks you have for each other..i wonder how you guys plan on telling them hey, we’re pregnant .. unless their knowing is dependant on the wife’s growing stomach? hehe.. sillies..
i have always heard my folks refer to each other with loving nicks like jaani or silly names my dad would just make up.. it made us feel the love at home and gave us kids such a positive image of marriage is like… it would sometimes get confusing when they were fighting sometimes though and still be using loving nicks.. something along the line of *yeh ghussa kissi aur ko dikhana jaani
* etc etc ![]()
woho guys....how abt respecting diff views. if u r comfortable with being addressed with such chessy names than thats your take at it...but if somebody is nt comfortable with it than thats their preference n doesnt mean they r being uptight. And this is the first time i m hearing that unhappiness in couples is cuz of these reasons 2 that they r nt comfortable addressing each other by nick names....like okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk no wonder we see so many people who r addressing each other by all those lovey dovel names in public and than fighting like cats n dogs in private....
Re: Do U Like It
In front of parents or relatives - big no-no!
