Do u eat NON-Halal meat?

Apparently, ranting is your job and you are doing it continuously in every single thread.

Have i misunderstood u here? Maybe.

I have got Spock's and Mirch's zabiya / zabiha stuff in my mind and thought u followed the same advice, that meat not specifically halal (but not pork) u can eat if its not locally available. Thats what i meant as acceptable.

Yes, we r all human and we all sin, but if a person BELIEVES in a ruling given to them by a religious scholar, then their intention in following that ruling is not in sinning.

So i was confused as to why u wouldn't want your kids to do that if (to u) it was an acceptable religious judgement from a learned local imam.

So maybe u don't follow that in your area. I don't know.

Because you were sort of implying that they did. Trust me, no one likes being called a 'lesser' Muslim or worse, a kafir, directly or indirectly. I am sure Allah doesnt like that either.

Re: Do u eat NON-Halal meat?

did i just enter religion forum or something? :konfused:

nothing wrong with eating non-zabiyah meat when it is not readily available where you live. Isnt that the consensus?

**[mod]anyway lets avoid the religious debate since this is household affairs and cuisine corner…[/mod]

let me ask you this question:**

is zabiyah meat readily available where you live? if not what do you eat?

Yes, thanks for reminding me. *So did you look for the "kufar" meaning ? *

Re: Do u eat NON-Halal meat?

^oh plz...lol stp pulling each other hairs...lol

Re: Do u eat NON-Halal meat?

When someone is labeling someone kufar or kafir.. .then one should have every right to ask on what grounds? ..

[note] I am moving this thread to religion forum since it has nothing to do with cuisines or household affairs. If you want to continue to debate about it then feel free to do so there. [/note]

Oh well, twas inevitable it would get moved here i guess.

Right people, please continue in an orderly and polite manner...

I don't really care what people eat and why...seriously.

My post was just an angry response to Sara516's post that she wrote in mahi's response, who were only stating her opinion.

Yes, i would like to know too…

You're the one who's labeling me kafir, explain your grounds???

You are the one who started it, now cry and bite me. Reminded you twice..... :)

Now a days it has become a fashion to call each other kafir.
eating non halal food is not allowed in Islam. why are we guys debating over it.

they are using wrong terminology... the debate is on zabiha and non zabiha halal meat.

What kind of reasoning is that? Only because Saudis do it this way so that makes it acceptable.

Re: Do u eat NON-Halal meat?

I don't think we need any fatwa because it's clear in the Qur'an..

Hence, eat not of that over which God's name has not been pronounced: for this would be sinful conduct indeed. (Qur'an 6:121) Translation by Muhammad Asad.

Sir, i didn't start this so ppl could call eachother kafir or non-kafir.

I want to see what other people do when it comes to eating halal / zabiha / non-zabiha, whatever (im still trying to learn!), because I realise that other places in this world r not like the little bubble that I live in, and others may not shop for meat / dine out according to the same criteria that I follow.

Lusi, do u mean zabiha halal meat, and non-zabiha halal meat? Please can u explain the terms for me, thanks.

Yes! Halal meat is any meat that we are allowed to eat i.e. chicken, goat, lamb, etc.

Zabiha and non zabiha refers to the way of slaughtering the animal.

Anyway, I see that in this thread people are confusing zabiha and non zabiha term with halal and non halal term. All these people who are saying they eat non halal outside basically mean they eat non zabiha meat which is basically halal meat to eat (chicken, lamb, beef).
